We stayed for less than one day in transit while waiting for our flights.
For our convenience We looked for a hotel that is located some where between the old Jeddah town and the King abdelaziz airport
The receptionist was friendly and the hotel the room was comfy; can't comment on other services due to limited time of our stay
Good comparing to the price
Very good value for money
Cost effective is how I would rate my stay at La Fontaine. don't expect anything special or super impressive, but it checks all the boxes for an affordable and reasonable hotel. Reasonably clean, and staff are nice. only thing is that the room was a bit old, so sound proofing is almost non existent. TV signal was bad as well as the fridge was squeaking sometimes, but that's really nitpicking.
Overall a clean property. I was traveling with my mom who has arthritis - convenience for an elderly with health issues was something we were looking for. The facility has elevator so that was a plus. However, the bathroom in our room did not have handrails, not to mention, no shower curtain or door - it was a half glass shower area which caused water to splash outside of the shower area, which made things very unsafe. Free breakfast was a plus as we had just landed in the country and were jetlagged and exhausted with the travel - food options were great. If you are traveling with an elderly or someone with health restrictions, I would suggest researching another property.
