Very good for the price, nice and clean and convenient to ski in Zermatt.
Pros:

The rooms are simple, no thrills, the bed was very comfortable, the service was excellent. The location to the Glacier train was excellent. The same room would be double the price in Zermatt and the train ride was 18 minutes on the hour. If you want to ski and have a clean affordable room, this is a nice place. My wife wanted the shower to have more room with a standing shower head.

Billig, gute Lage, aber 20‘ Anfahrt nach Zermatt, dort aber gleich in die Gornergratbahn. Wirt weigert sich mit Pasdivit

Cons:

Wirt. Tut freundlich, ist aber mit Vielem überfordert, besonders mit rechtzeitigem Stornieren und Verwaltung. Bucht nicht über booking!

Très très bon lit de couple, jolie chambre à un prix vraiment très appréciable
Pros:

+La gentillesse de l'acceuil et une très jolie chambre+douche, un personnel sur lequel compter, relations simples et bienveillantes.
+Une gare plus haut: repas délicieux/prix surprenant pour la qualité+quantité à Zermatt (le village avant) MAGNIFIQUE SÉJOUR.
+Les trains circulent constament, ils sont pratiquement silencieux. On se sent dans le calme, on est en montagne, c'est organisé pour avoir tous les avantages à disposition.
++L' hôtel tipique du Valais, apparence beton, charme des anciens volets. L'hôtel est à côté de la gare, il y a une poste et un bureau-info-tourisme juste en face.
+À recommander: On peut venir tout près de Zermatt avec un budjet "plus-que-normal" je dirais même, avec "un-petit-budjet-vacances". BRAVO à nos compatriotes valaisans et surtout ...MERCI.

Good location with recently upgraded bedrooms
Pros:

The hotel is only a minute's walk from the train station giving quick access to Zermatt. The bedrooms have been recently refurbished with new and comfortable beds, It is good value and we had a very pleasant cheese fondue for dinner. Despite the proximity to the station, there is no noise from trains (which travel quite slowly through Randa). It is well positioned for local mountain hikes in the summer time.

Pros:

The hotel has a charming, cozy atmosphere that feels like a traditional, simple place rather than a large, impersonal chain hotel. The room was spotless, and the mattress was extremely comfortable.
The manager was incredibly accommodating, he kindly stayed an extra hour and a half late in the evening to check us in, allowing us to catch the last train from Zermatt without stress. (Which stops right in front of the hotel).
We both had breakfast, which was complete, satisfying, and very good value for the price.

Lovely family run Gueathouse
Pros:

Convenient right next to the station & information/tourism office
Staff were friendly, superb communication and would do anything for you
Warm, very comfortable beds & quiet with great views from our room, shower always plentiful hot water

Cons:

We were in the triple room up at the top and the roof slopes down which is fine in the bedroom but the shower is very low, with the shower curtain is just problematic to actually shower as you have to hunch over. However you get used to it

Das Hotel hat eine super Lage, die Zimmer waren schön und großzügig, das Schweizer Frühstück war klasse und ausreichend. Marco der Hausherr ist super nett und hilfsbereit, mit dem man auch abends noch einen Absacker trinken kann😉
Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder vorbei!
