Liked the appartment style rooms (unique charm for a hotel), the lounge area on 1st floor was wery cosy.
Nice location (pretty quiet one way in downtown Tana)
Did not like: only one small bottle was granted and only one large towel while we were two.
Beautiful property and close to sights around Tana. However it had it worst water pressure of any hotel during our Madagascar trip. Barely a trickle...
Charged extra night due techinal error and never aswered email about that. Cold shover and poor bed. Breakfast was good. Can't recommend to anyone. That was a bad start for honeymoon.
Not a good stay. Was downgraded in front of me. I Refused my room after viewing (first time ever) as damp covers smell and bugs moving on mattress. Paid for superior and much cleaner though slept On bed in sleeping bag!!! Dangerous neighbourhood and told to go eat at nearby hotel needing 2 security guards to escort me the 400m. NEVER Ever returning! Booked taxi for 7.30 and I left at 6.50. Guess they didn't want me there either?! Breakfast was plastic box croissant and they wanted money for some water with it. I was incensed.
This is a go to pace whenever I am in this city, can’t speak highly enough.
This is my second going here and I would surely go back. Great place and even better value.
This hotel is great to have a good nights rest. Staff is friendly and very helpful.
Wow. After travelling for 1 month all over southern Africa, we are naming this hotel as our #1 favourite. We stayed here on 2 separate occasions: at the beginning, and end of our time in Madagascar. The beds are extremely comfortable, showers hot, wifi great, clean&modern rooms- (some with amazing views of the city!) The staff were wonderfully helpful and attentive (and spoke English). Finally, the breakfast croissants are not to be missed. Location was great for walking to nearby restaurants including Le carnivore, Nerone, and La varangue- arguably some of Antananarivo's best dining options.
We got the second category room, which was very large. Loved the large shower. Great location (and security). Air conditioning also a huge plus.
Didn't realize there is no elevator, so we had to carry our bags to the third floor. Had trouble with reception solely because of the language barrier (they did not speak English).
Food is overpriced so we walked across the street to a great restaurant. Pretty sure we also got ripped off on the airport transfer (hotel charged us about $30 USD).
We thoroughly loved this place! Very clean and comfortable. Nice little boutique hotel with very friendly staff. Food was great as well. Only downside was the location on a very busy one-way street, but the guard outside was always watching for us and had a place to park right outside the door when we returned every evening. Highly recommended - will stay here again. We had an amazing visit to Tana and this hotel was an important part of that visit!!
Gepflegt; in fußläufiger Entfernung zum Königspalast; angenehme Betten; freundliche, hilfsbereite Angestellte; mehrere nette Restaurants in der selben Straße; gerne wieder; leider nur VISA-Karte möglich;
This hotel is a little less costly than some others in the area and possibly not quite as well equipped, but it is charming and clean with friendly helpful staff and was more than adequate for our needs. Yummy continental breakfast!
The Continental breakfast took 45 min. to arrive to the table and we were only 2 tables in the restaurant.
Super clean, updates, very large nicely decorated rooms. Staff were excellent-welcoming, efficient and helpful. Little restaurant had great food. Will return. Excellent value for price.
its clean and close to heart of town but a bit pricey considering there is no breakfast and comparable to piers thatare cheaper with breakfast
The stay was ok except for the lack of natural light in the room.
The service is friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good. The hotel is well situated nearby several restaurants.
After staying in many hotels across Tana this was by far the best! Amazing staff
