Amazing experience at Olas Verdes! The staff was incredibly helpful with any request, large or small. We loved the path to the beach and proximity to town; close enough to walk everywhere but away from the bustle. Delicious, big breakfast. So, so peaceful. Highly recommend!

Olas Verdes was amazing and exceeded our expectations. From the moment we checked in we were surrounded by the warmth of the Costa Rica people and culture. What time is the final word they went out of the way to make sure the guests had everything needed. Beautiful place

What a lovely place! Wonderful staff, great atmosphere, amazing breakfast and food. Short walk path through mangroves to beach. Surf place with lessons or rentals directly onsite. The rooms are much better than they look online with fridge, which was great for keeping a few drinks as prices at the bar were high…

My family and I stayed at Olas Verdes Hotel in Nosara and we enjoyed every minute. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our suite was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We all loved the short walk to the beach, the wonderful and tasty breakfast we were served every morning and the daily laundry service. Also loved the many howler sightings at and near the property.

The outdoor spaces were stunning. The rooms spacious and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and always helpful. The beach was so close, and the food was excellent. We will be staying there again.

Amazing

We stayed here for 5 nights in March with our two teenage boys. Upon arrival, they immediately took all of our luggage and met us with bottles of fresh juice and cold towels, then gave a tour of the property. On the second night there was an issue with our room & they were incredibly accommodating and moved us to a new spot right away.There are two pools, and between the two, you can always find a quiet pool as the hotel is not very large. The pool loungers were mostly in the shade which was lovely because it was so hot. The pool was saltwater and a lovely temperature and always very clean. The path to the beach takes about 3 minutes to walk and is through the jungle. A lovely walk, if you ask me. It's nice that the coastline is all greenery and not littered with hotels, because of the building restrictions (not within 200m of high tide I believe). Hotel had free boogie boards which were high quality boards and we used them every day. Surfboards are available to rent on site at Safari Surf, along with lessons. We also used the free bikes to go into town to the market, which made it much quicker. The rooms themselves are nice and well equipped. Came with shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the bathroom and in the kitchen there was a full bag of coffee and some tea and milk in the fridge. Staff were all amazing, so friendly and even remembered our names. The included breakfast had a lot of selection and was delicious. We had almost everything on the menu between the 4 of us.

This is a gem of a hotel with an amazing restaurant. The staff is the friendliest and so nice to us when we had our bag stolen with our phones. They were all ready to help and we did find the phones but not the bag. We slept like babies, the hotel feels retreated from it all and a trail to the amazing Playa Guiones. Thank you for amazing stay and all your attention and care.

Fantastic stay! Family loved it as close as you can get to surf and easy walk or short bike ride to restaurants/shopping. Staff were incredible. Super quiet for sleeping and everything you need right there for rentals (surf, quads, shuttles, etc…). Would stay again without question,

We love olas verde

A fabulous small Eco friendly hotel nestled in the trees behind the superb beach. The staff can not do enough to help you and the restaurant serves delicious food!

Our second visit to this hotel. It’s beautiful. Staff are friendly and helpful. Situated as close to the beach as possible in Nosara. You walk right out of the hotel to the path to the beach.
A couple minor things on this trip. They did charge an extra $45 a night because we brought our son (making 3 of us) even though the suite we booked sleeps 4. So that added an extra $250 onto our cost.
The other minor issue is the cost of beer at the restaurant. $8 a bottle for a domestic lager and $14 for a domestic IPA. In town those are like $2.50 and $4 respectively. We went to the local market and bought 6-packs for $12. On the other hand the cocktails are great and cost about what you would expect at an upscale bar.
Otherwise the place is the best combination of location, comfort, and cost in Nosara. We will definitely be back.

I love this hotel. It is very close to walk to the beach, just crossing nature ( path), the food was excellent, all the staff was extremely kind and helpful. Rooms are very comfortable. Nice pillows. It is surrounded by nature; this is a paradise for surfers, what else can I say? I want to go back!!
