Cons:

The room was in an awful state and needs urgent cleaning/renovating. The cleanliness of the property was not good at all and I am very unhappy with my stay. I have logged a complaint about this.

The staff were helpful and kind.

Cons:

No lifts; out of action for a month before we arrived. Not forewarned but at least the staff guided us up and down on them and I am disabled. Breakfast cold because I think that there was so few guests so no actual buffet!

Comfortable rooms, well presented and no stress though a bit bare inside the actual building.
Pros:

Good location close to the pier, local pubs close by, beach is beautiful. Rooms were clean and comfortable, adjustable tv in rooms. One room had a better TV with Netflix and other apps whereas the other was smaller with freeview, but for the price I really can't complain. Ensuite bathroom pretty decent. Beds were comfortable. Communal spaces a bit bare and rough but it was useful overall. One of my family cheekily asked for more teabags/coffee/milk and they gave us a bunch so that was nice. They were open at reception it seemed like all night so that was convenient and we could come and go with the key. Check in was easy, overall I'm pretty happy.

Cons:

I guess customer service wasn't top notch when we arrived it was completely minimal we got our key and they pointed to where rooms were and we had to ask about eminities and the bar which the person at reception also opened and served between working at the desk. But also it was October on a wet weekday so I guess it was a bit of a skeleton period for the hotel, not many people staying on the seafront in general.
