Father and don trip away
Pros:

Location was fantastic, great sea views from dinner hall and bar. Staff were exceptional and helpful. A great welcoming on arrival . Breakfast option was fantastic x

Cons:

Beds were not comfortable, outdated deco however thats not important.
Shower was very poor and was unable to use for my son who has a learning disabilities due to flimsy showere head .
So new shower and new mattress for room 232 would be Great.

An enjoyable couple of days in a good location despite the rain!
Pros:

The staff were pleasant and helpful. The young man on reception was very helpful. The room was clean and reasonably spacious. The views were great and the location excellent for amenities.
We had evening meals in the hotel which were generous portions and the main course was worth the money but not the sweets.

Cons:

The buffet breakfast had a reasonable selection of things but the hot food sadly was not particularly hot. Maybe this was because there were not too many guests in the hotel at the time so food was not cooked so frequently.
Whilst our room was clean, the bathroom floor was not. The bathroom had a new washbasin but the remainder is in urgent need of refurbishment.

Pros:

Breakfast was fine. Staff were nice

Cons:

The hotel is very dated and run down and it shows. Wasn't as clean as id like. Glasses in room. Were dirty and bathroom was not nice

Lovely stay thankyou
Pros:

Absolutely loved the location and the views wow we had sea view and you could watch all ferries boats going by. The staff were really friendly professional and helpful , We were given a surprise complimentary bottle of wine in resturant with our meal one night as it was our anniversary so kind They must have a fantastic chef to as meals /breakfast were of great quality , taste and value ,yum The hotel is undergoing huge refurbishment and shall be great to go back afterwards to see changes , The bar & resturant/ huge breakfast room are lovely decorated lovely & big comfy chairs, sofas etc to watch over the sea out of these huge lovely windows ⛴️🛥☀️☕️🍺🍹🍽 just a teeny tiny wee thing only ,, our room was looking a bit tired paintwise but hey it must be waiting its turn for upgrading and we had everything we need in it and it was clean so we were happy 😍 thankyou everyone for our stay 👌🤩

Pros:

Hotel situated ideally for my work

Cons:

The room smelt of damp and smoke, whoever had been in room before had obviously been smoking in room. Myself and teenage daughter are non smokers so noticed this right away.The shower was broken you had to hold it while getting washed, television bit too small for size of room.

Was a good deal for a one night stay
Pros:

The location was really good. The staff were helpful and friendly and we got a good deal on the price of the room.

Cons:

The room was on the top floor and along a corridor right at the back of the hotel, it was a bit pokey with a small window. We could see the sea at a push.
