Good food
Nothing
I thought the staff were super helpful and friendly. The location was fantastic. Liked having tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
The decor in the bedroom was quite dreary and the room itself quite basic. I think because the room was big it felt like it needed more in it.
Great view, nice to get an upgrade to deluxe double, breakfast is good, staff friendly. Faded elegance...hotel in dire need of redecoration, roof was being repaired when I stayed.
Shower base in single room I stayed in was filthy and walls of the bedroom had scuffed and stained wallpaper and stained floor. Charging £20 per night for a dog is way too much, especially given the rationale from receptions desk was that it would take the cleaners longer to clean the room...I spent 20 minutes trying to drain away the foul gunk and scum from the seal of the shower, my dog wouldn't be happy going in that shower.
Nice location looking over oban bay
Superior room 's big and comfy
Overall hotel was okay
Payed £10 for parking bay...but if you move your car someone else takes your space
A bit of a nightmare they have to sort that one out
For the price paid, the hotel was adequate.
The staff were very kind & hospitable.
The room was pretty dismal. It looked clean, but behind the furniture, there was lots of dirt & grime, the radiator was on, but the room was cold and all through my stay, there was thumping, banging and noise, even in the early hours, so i hardly slept.
not far from town ferrys and bus train station
photos show it nice when we got there front car park could been swept and power wash green moss on steeps oh there doing the roof so scaffolding is up van parked and materials in front of hotel it was dull and old fashion when got in told there be no hot water next day as repairs to be done went to room furniture is so cheap just wardrobe and vanity unit table 3 chairs electric lead so you could plug things in all other plugs blocked by wardrobe burn marks on carpet beds could been better bathroom was like a ice block no heating in there at all it looked like a 60s bathroom to get into shower you had to step up over a 12 inch high first night No hot water but so tied had wash in cold water next night No hot water again so went to complane manager was up stairs as other guests had no water he came down and said fitters were in hotel and he said he come let us know what's was happening but noone came but we did have hot water the windows look like never been cleaned in years glad when we left so think about it hotel needs to close and have full refurbishment to bring it up to good stranded
not much - good location I guess
the property is in a state of disrepair. unfortunately there were a number of concerns, mould, damp, fire alarm went off every single night. staff did their best
Staff upgraded room with stunning view, breakfast was very good and location excellent
Hotel a bit tired and could benefit from decoration and works to improve
Absolutely terrible would not recommend horrendous from start to finish avoid, avoid avoid!!! Oban council would have a field day mould on the windows and walls, wallpaper peeling off, smashed windows, bed bugs, ripped curtains this place needs shut down!! Seen better looking prison cells no safely signs, an extra £10 for parking, lots of asbestos
The hotel is run down needs refurbished and alot of repairs and a good painting
