Great location to the beach
Pros:

A Fantastic 4-Year Anniversary Stay

We stayed at the Nici to celebrate our 4-year anniversary, and it delivered a truly luxurious experience from start to finish. To make the occasion even more special, the team kindly gave us a room upgrade, which was a wonderful touch.

Highlights of our stay:

The Room: Spotlessly clean, beautifully styled, and exceptionally comfortable. The bed provided a fantastic night's sleep.

Service & Staff: Outstanding hospitality throughout. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, attentive, and welcoming.

Dining: Excellent food with a wide variety of breakfast options and a great à la carte menu for dinner.

Facilities & Parking: The spa facilities were lovely and relaxing. On-site secure parking was easy to access (£27/night), offering great peace of mind.

Location: Unbeatable. It is less than a five-minute walk down to the beach, making exploring the coastline effortless.

Everything about the stay felt genuinely high-end and relaxing. We had a memorable celebration and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

Cons:

Small lift, no shelf in bathroom for products, payment for parking.

My preferred option in Bournemouth but ample room for improvement
Pros:

I know many of the hotels in this segment in Bournemouth and the Nici is definitely the one with the best facilities and best food offering. It is great that the property has both - outdoor and indoor pool, reducing the risk of the English weather impact. Decor is vibrant with a hint of Miami Beach. The Reception staff and main restaurant team were super friendly and accommodating. We particularly loved the special touches and creativity of the restaurant, e.g. preparing Caesar's salad table side.

Cons:

Car parking is always an issue. They need to guarantee the valet parking service for a hotel trying to position itself at the higher end of the market. The price/value relationship is a little off. Rooms are fresh and clean but tiny in all categories. The bathroom is not very user-friendly in its design and there is little space for toiletries. Staff at the pool had a 'no-can-do' attitude. Appreciate that on a hot summer's day the pool area can be busy, but when you are marking yourself to families with children who are already super restricted in the indoor area you should welcome them more in the outdoor pool area. Not handing out the pool toys that are available whilst other kids use some was quite cruel.

after initially being tainted by the car park situation i really enjoyed my stay
Pros:

Some staff were fantastic, very helpful and very kind, really went the extra mile

Cons:

The fact you have to hand your keys over to a complete stranger to use the car park, all so the hotel can park 3 deep an make an extra £100/200 a night from there carpark.. so you have to trust a random person who isn't insured to move your car and entrust them with all your possessions in thier.. also an added bonus to this, when you hand them your keys they say on the slip that they are not responsible for any damage they cause... speechless is the word, appalling behaviour

Great facilities - poor rooms and service
Pros:

The facilities were great.

Cons:

The annex bedroom was poor and not worth the money, we did not feel connected to the hotel at all and it ruined our stay as we had to walk through the car park in our robes. The breakfast in bed was poor we had to ring up reception to tell them that we had left the sheet on our door for the breakfast they had no idea ( I’m imagining because we were in the car park). Then my order was wrong twice, which meant my partner ate his birthday breakfast on his own as it was half an hour later this was resolved. I understand this cannot be helped sometimes, but for a trip I had paid a lot for and was super excited for I was very disappointed and will not recommend to people.
