Exceptional kind people. Only people in that part of Sri Lanka that didn’t ask for extra money .
Pros:

Manager went far and beyond to make our stay amazing and feel special. Highly recommend the continental breakfast which included exceptional coffee and omelettes.
Kind and generous people with time and energy.

De locatie was fijn en het personeel wel aardig

Cons:

Het stonk naar schimmel onze kamer was erg vies en slecht onderhouden. We mochten gelukkig naar een andere kamer. Helaas hier ook veel schimmel

Not worthy to stay there and not safe.
Pros:

There is nothing to like about it as the hosts over there are not humans. They don't accept the booking.com prices and do over billing. And if you ask for booking.com rates they starts fighting.

Cons:

Didn't like the scammers sitting on the reception.

Had potential but tired and needs revamping.
Pros:

The rooms were separate bungalows surrounding a lovely garden. It had the potential to be very old world and charming which was why we chose it. The staff welcomed us and were mostly accommodating but had limited English. The breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty.

Cons:

The electric switches did not work or were held together with tape. The vanity unit was also taped around the edges presumably for safety. The tv did not work and we were told it would not work while we were there. No option was given. The internet in our room was patchy and we had to sit in the lobby to use the only reliable internet.

Delightful in every way, we were sorry to leave
Pros:

Delightfully large and airy bedrooms with air conditions and overhead fan.

Large dining room, comfy lobby and nice swimming pool set in lovely garden.

Very friendly and helpful staff at every level from reception and kitchen and grounds staff and including the manager. Our stay felt like a very special event.

We had a lovely Sri Lanka breakfast and had Tuk Tuk arranged for us for lion rock visit.

Cons:

We had nothing that we didn’t like.

Wonderful. Lovely hotel, staff and great value for money. I would return to this hotel for sure.
Pros:

Main purpose of visit was to climb Sigiriya Rock. The hotel is close, only a couple kilometers and 5-7 minute Tuk ride. Excellent location. Staff were warm, friendly, effective and wonderful. The manager, Mr. Roshan and front desk clerk, Dilki, were lovely. Mr. Rashan had worked in major hotels in Dubai and provided OUTSTANDING, attentive customer service, helping to arrange Tuks to Sigiriya and Pidurangala, identifying a train to return to Colombo and calling local train station to confirm schedule. Truly outstanding customer service.

Cons:

No complaints at all.
