Bad attitude from crew and not help full at all. Dirty old hotel.

9 days,only one time houskeeper when i ask.Wifi ok.Nothing service happend,maybe if you ask.

Fake Smile of he Manager and totally lack of truth. Promise are meant to be kept just as long as they pass the lips of the non-carting manager. No !! internet and early hot water. NOT worth the price!!

Horrible ! Fraud. The fake smile of the Non-Carring manager did it all. Wifi NOT working, ( he claimed it is not his fault ??? ) Hot water - sometimes (He claimed the did not promised it.) Elevator working - sometimes. Some rooms are nice - but the front desk fake smiles and lake of care... NOT worth it.

We were pleasantly surprised. A well above average comfortable room with very friendly service. Clean and well designed like a small boutique hotel. We recommend Ocean Breeze strongly.

To be honest: you get what you pay for. Hotel looks good from the outside, location is very convenient, could be a bit cleaner, but the management says it will improve. The biggest advantage of this place? Two young gentlemen working at the reception desk. Friendly, helpful, and fun to talk to. Wish you luck guys!

The hotel was not what u see in the pictures...
No room service was provided,they din even clean the room or change the bedsheet everyday... the room was small, n uncomfortable, the bed faces one direction while the tv is on the other.

Price is too high for that standard

Late arrival from airport taxi driver could not locate this place as it is hidden in between 2 streets.After 1hr taxi driver advise that it is not safe to be around that area so i had to check into a another hotel.
Next day i went to above hotel and explained the situation where receptionist admit that it is bit difficult to find in the night and spoke with the manager who did not even want to hear.
Poor customer service will not refer to any

Sadly the pictures doesn't show the lack of cleanliness. Washroom walls were dripping rust under métal poles and black deposit under everything else and in every corner. The A/C was suspicious with orange leaks and évidence or non-maintenance. We recommand, for the price That is not so much on a budget to try something else.

Out of the 46 bookings we’ve made through Hotels.com in the last year, this is the 2nd worst hotel we stayed at (#1 goes to Hotel 99 in Kuala Lumpur!). We were massively disappointed and felt let down by hotels.com, as we’ve always paid strong attention to the hotel reviews and scores left by other customers. Since this hotel has such great reviews and a high score, we unfortunately decided to stay here.

The upside: The staff were quite helpful although very miserable. The location is okay. It is quite cheap / budget.

Here’s the downside: Bathroom had a strong unpleasant funky smell. Condition and cleanliness of the room was old and dirty with marks all over the sheets, floor, walls, and the roof was falling down. My feet were black with dirt after walking from the bed to the TV a few times. We decided to keep our shoes on after that!

Worst thing: After killing a 4 inch long poisonous centipede, we sprayed down the room with insecticide and went for dinner. Upon our return, I counted 15 dead small cockroaches in the bathroom, and 2 in the bedroom. When I went to move the pillows on the bed a huge 3 inch cockroach ran under the mattress.

I don’t mean to rant and be pessimistic, I just don’t want anyone else to be mislead into staying here. Enough said – DO NOT stay here, unless you love insects.

The room was clean, comfy bed and pillows, and the 24 hour check in was useful for us with a 3am flight. However it felt in a bit of a weird area, and there were bits of unfinished things about the room such as odd bits of plaster, damp patches and holes where there once was a plug socket... these were a little unsightly and annoying. It served its purpose but I'm sure there are better places to stay!

Nice hotel if you travel on a low budget because you know you aren't paying for a 5 star hotel.

The hotel Ian tucked away just off the water front in Colombo. The room so are spacious if a little dark, but comfortable and relatively clean. Guys on reception are relatively helpful and check in is hassle free. It is a perfect hotel for a night or two in Colombo.

Reasonably priced if you need to stay in Colombo 3 but rooms are not finished off properly, not serviced daily when they are supposed to be and bathroom looks amd smells a bit tatty.

It was very cheap therefore conditions of room reflects this however we were very comfortable. Its a little way out of Bentota so very quiet. Staff were great and very accommodating. Breakfast was excellent with beautiful beach view from the breakfast and dinning room. Owner is having fresh fish cooked for us tonight for dinner along with cold beer and wine. The beach is very close and magnificent

This was our first hotel in Sri Lanka and we really needed a good place to sleep after our flight. This place did not disappoint us. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower was also great.

It's near the beach and we sort of had a sea view but also close enough to restaurants/shops in the city. The staff were friendly and helped us with our train to Kandy etc.

For one of the cheaper hotels in Colombo, this rates really highly in my recommendation as it is very well priced for what they deliver.

Hotel/ room is clean, Safer location, easy access to Restaurants, Shopping Centers, Hospitals...etc
Hotel Staffs are very Friendly.

The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Sajin was a perfect host and helped us a lot in getting out of a situation where the driver had cheated us. We thank him and his Uncle a lot for all the help and support. A must stay in Colombo as its very near to the all the places for Shopping. The beach was just right across the road and the rooms are exactly like they were shown in the pics. The Staff are very helpful and courteous and not to mention the breakfast was really good.

Close to city centre! Staff was extremely friendly! Bed was comfortable, shower was great. Room was clean! Would definitely recommend this place!! Very reasonably priced for what you get :)
