The Asbury Hotel

My husband (and dog) stayed the night for a concert. The hotel staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. We’ll definitely be back.

We loved the close proximity to the Runapalooza Race events, beach, and restaurants. Amenities were great with a mix of nostalgia and modern feel.

Terrible. Over priced almost $600 for a room I expected more of a luxury experience. I may as well stayed at a motel. Waste of money.

Clean hotel. Max at check in desk was helpful and accommodating. I watched him juggle several things at once for other guests with great professionalism. When we got in our room, we saw that it was the wrong room type, and he quickly fixed it for us. I found the staff to be polite and friendly. Room was clean and enjoyed the overall vibe in the lobby area. Did feel it was a little pricey, but enjoyed our stay nonetheless. We came off-season so had no parking issues but can definitely see that that would be the biggest hurdle when staying at this hotel.

As you arrive at the hotel you are met with amazing customer service. The valet got right to taking care of our car and bags. The check in at the seamless and detailed. The decor and cleanliness you cannot miss. The approximation to the boardwalk was perfect . Far away enough to not hear all the noise but close enough to take a nice walk

We had a hotel block here for our wedding. Max at the front desk was so helpful and great and Chelsea made sure everything was taken care of as we corresponded prior to check in. We received everything we wanted and everyone made the process smooth and easy. We loved the marquee sign that remained up all weekend to greet our guests! Can’t wait for our next stay here!

I want expecting to be woken up on my first night by a fire alarm going off at 8am for over 5 minutes and also didn't expect to have a room that was next to garbage pickup that also took place at 8am - I now know quiet rooms need to be requested.

Friendly staff, clean comfortable room, relaxing atmosphere and walking distance to everything.

The hotel itself is beautiful but the rooms leave much to be desired. There are no drawers to place your clothing. The closet clothing rod if on the bottom, and not the top so your clothing is dragging on the floor; also not the best use of space. The bed was supposed to be a king size but its more like a queen size. There are no hooks tall enough to hang or steam your clothing. The windows have shutters but no curtains to block out light like in most hotels. And finally, the bathroom had a foul smell coming from the drains. Overall just an okay room.

Super clean and eclectic hotel. Tons of history. The staff was top notch. The valet young fella dont remember name was outstanding. This is a 5 star hotel hands down. We will recomend to all fir anytime.

What a perfect hotel at the beach. The room had everything I needed and the staff could not have been nicer. It is so convenient to the boardwalk. Will definitely be my go to place in AP in the future

Super dog friendly. I take my dog everywhere with me. Lots of hotels, but the staff went out of their way to make both him and me feel comfortable

I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay. Upon arrival, our first room had blood-stained sheets and hair, which I reported to the front desk with photos.

Our new room had water issues that were not resolved during our stay; we were told maintenance could only come at 7:00 AM the next day, which was inconvenient.

Additionally, the walls were so thin that we could clearly hear our neighbors being intimate, which made the stay even more uncomfortable.

Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel due to cleanliness, maintenance, and noise problems.

Perfect for a Bruce fan. From pre-booking discussion with the sales manager to the valet (who navigated blizzard weather) and check in team, every moment was perfect. Loved the vinyl collection. Guitar shaped peanut & butter sandwiches were adorable. Cannot say enough. Looking forward to a return.

Diner is excellent. Decor is excellent. Staff are excellent.

The staff was amazing. Super quaint hotel – the rooms are small so be prepared - but very accessible to the boardwalk and other interesting sites. Wonderful wedding weekend!

I booked The Asbury for a surprise birthday weekend for my husband. We also had some friends join us. The atmosphere of The Asbury is relaxing and hip! The rooms are cozy and even included a record player to play the library of records in the lobby! Staff was excellent. Super attentive and friendly!
