It was so peaceful and located in such a picturesque area. The staff were incredible.

Cosy stay in true paradise!
Pros:

The pousada is located in the middle of the Atlantic forest by the beach; it's not part of any village. The next village (Bananal) is 30-45 minutes on foot along a forest hiking path, and there are a couple of restaurants there (I would not go at night, though). It's beautiful and safe to reach nearby beaches on foot, and it feels like a little jungle adventure. The food in the pousada is amazing, everything homemade and super tasty, with fresh fruits, cakes, seafood, fish and amazing caipirinha. It was my birthday, and they made an incredible birthday cake with brigadeiro filling! They have free kayaks, and you can visit the Blue Lagoon before the bigger boats arrive. There are also turtles on the beaches nearby! The room was spacious and had a balcony overlooking the sea! There is also a pool and sauna that we did not have time to try! The relaxing massage we had was to die for! The staff was incredibly nice and always had a smile for us. We felt at home in paradise!

Cons:

I wish we had more time to stay! I wish I was still there! Since the Pousada is quite isolated, it can be expensive to get around by boat. I would stay again, since the Pousada offers everything I needed and more, but if someone wants to try multiple restaurants on the island and go to bars, this might not be the best place for that.

Cons:

O anúncio do hotel é enganador, as janelas do quarto não fechavam na totalidade. Consequentemente, tivemos um morcego no quarto à noite e no dia seguinte uma barata. Íamos ficar 5 noites e fomos embora logo depois da primeira. A comida e os talheres estavam sempre com bichos. Não recomendo.

Paraiso Azul retiro a été, comme son nom l'indique, un petit coin de paradis pendant les 3 jours que nous y avons passé. Tout d'abord, le personnel : ils ont été au top du début à la fin, nous ont aidé à tout organiser (bateau, taxi, excursion, gâteau d'anniversaire), nous ont très gentiment accueillis et ont été d'une rare gentillesse.
Les locaux (chambre, plage, piscine, restaurant, etc) sont charmants et très fonctionnels, malgré l'isolation du complexe sur une île. Des kayaks sont même mis gratuitement à disposition pour des balades très agréables afin d'observer la faune et la flore locale.
En résumé, si vous avez un petit coup de mou ou que vous cherchez le bonheur/repos le temps de quelques jours, cet établissement est l'endroit idéal.

Quizás el mejor hotel de nuestra vida.
Pros:

El hotel es sencillamente espectacular. Las imágenes de Booking no le llegan a hacer justicia. Las instalaciones están en medio de un paraíso natural, pero no por ello están descuidadas o sucias.

La playa privada está súper bien. Es lo suficientemente grande para los huéspedes y súper cómoda ya que tienes tumbonas y sillas del propio hotel y te pueden traer bebidas. Además el mini spa con piscina, jacuzzi y sauna tiene unas vistas espectaculares. La comida es sencillamente difícil de creer lo buena que está teniendo en cuenta que estás en medio de la naturaleza.

Por otro lado el personal es muy amable y nos organizaron todos los trayectos desde Río. La atención es muy personalizada y se adaptan en todo a ti.

Nosotros tuvimos mala suerte y un día no paró de llover y aún así entre la sauna, el jacuzzi, la posibilidad de tener masajes y el bar tuvimos una muy buena experiencia.

Totalmente recomendable. Merece la pena cada euro.

Intentamos pensar una propuesta de mejora pero no hemos podido pensar nada que no nos gustara.

Verdadeiro paraíso
Pros:

Foi tudo incrível. Apesar de ter chovido um pouco, a equipa fez tudo para que a nossa estadia fosse perfeita.
Logo à chegada, estavam à nossa espera com guarda chuvas para nos encaminhar à recepção e, a partir daí, pudemos disfrutar ao máximo das magníficas instalações, sempre bem limpas e cuidadas.
Apesar de termos tido um pequeno problema no nosso quarto, depois de o comunicarmos, a resposta foi imediata.
O restaurante serve comida muito saborosa.
A praia e a piscina estão num enquadramento que nos dá mesmo a sensação de estarmos num paraíso.

Fantastic slice of paradise
Pros:

This is an absolutely stunning hotel with fantastic facilities (including pool, sauna and free kayaks). It's right on the beach, with wonderful staff, very nice and comfortable rooms with private balcony and a fantastic food and drink offering. We also thoroughly enjoyed the boat trip that they recommended. It was a true slice of paradise and we loved our stay

Cons:

They are wrong about the location which led many to struggle to get to / from the hotel. Staff did their best to try and organise boats last minute, including begging people to share privately booked ones, but this shouldn't be needed. Information should have been clearer about how to get there. Be warned you need to figure out transfers from Abraao if you go that way, and it'll be very expensive. Also, because the staff are not based on the island, the evening restaurant opening times are very short, ending at 8:30pm. Due to the remote location you have no other choice for dinner, so this is a shame. Again, they should explain this so people can bring food with them. But I would still recommend the hotel and would definitely go back. They just need to make some things clearer to ensure a smooth experience.
