The staff was excellent
The fact that the jacuzzi wasn't working and the kettle in the room wasn't working.
The room was perfect and spacious
I didn’t have any dislike
The room was large, spacious and comfortable.
This may be considered a little nit-picky, but I do feel that a bit more attention to the smaller details would give the property an extra edge. Things such as clean windows, curtains that can be opened and closed easily, and dust-free cupboards all contribute to the overall impression.
One small detail that I found particularly odd was that there was nothing provided to dry your hands in the upstairs guest toilet. I mentioned this to a staff member, but when I used the bathroom again later, there was still nothing available. While this was not the bathroom attached to my room, it is the toilet guests would naturally use when visiting the property, so it seems like a small but important detail to address.
I also found it a little disconcerting to see spa staff sitting on the stairway that guests need to use to access their rooms. A designated staff area away from guest walkways would perhaps feel more appropriate.
None of these are major issues individually, but collectively they suggest a slight lack of attention to the finer details and detract a little from what could otherwise be a very polished experience.
