En arrivant, de nuit, avec la pleine lune sur la terrasse du bâtiment de l’accueil, c’était un spectacle incroyable.
Nous avons été très bien accueillis.
Nos cabanes donnaient sur l’autre côté. C’était aussi très joli mais nous préférions la vue de l’arrivée.
Comme nous y étions en semaine, il n’était pas possible de prendre un petit déjeuner. Mais l’hôtesse d’accueil nous a offert un thé et un café

Encuentro was amazing. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Catered ti our every need at all hours of the day. Absolutely loved this place.
There was a strong drainage smell coming from the bathroom. We had to open the windows, but because of the warm weather we couldn't keep them open for too long as the A/C would be worthless. At some point in the morning the A/C stopped working. The timing of transportation was an issue ... it took about 15-20 minutes.

STAY AWAY!!!! This is basically glorified camping—and not in a cute way. You can’t drive up to your room; instead, you have to take a bumpy shuttle every time you need to go anywhere. Forgot something in your car? Need to go to the lobby? Shuttle.
The property *is* beautiful, but our experience in Room 2 was incredibly disappointing—and absolutely not worth the nearly 400 USD a night price tag.
After dinner, we noticed a strong sulfur/rotten egg smell outside… and then realized it had made its way into the room. It was so bad it made us dizzy. We had to open all the windows and sleep in the cold. When we contacted staff, they sent someone who sprayed air freshener and poured something down a drain—but he also admitted this issue happens *often* in certain rooms. That was incredibly frustrating and concerning.
The next morning, things got worse. We waited over an hour for breakfast, never received our food, and had to leave for a wine tasting without eating—or even having time to get ready.
We ended up checking out early. While they refunded the second night and gave us a bottle of wine, we were still charged full price for the night we spent breathing in noxious fumes. For a known issue, that’s just unacceptable.

This hotel (one of the first eco-boutiques in Valle) has held up well. The service is excellent and the grounds are stunning, especially over the hill where the "lofts" are located. A great place to disappear for the weekend.
The staff was fantastic, from the drivers to the front of house. Always ready to help and make sure we had what we needed. I can't wait to go back.
Small and not greatly important - but a small in room fridge and a microwave - due to the Pods being isolated. But honestly with a little planning - these would not be an issue, and I understand the need to make each Pod as self contained and efficient as possible.
It’s a nice place to visit. The room is small. The staff jd very nice. Great view.
