Our outdoor thermal spring pool is adults only and complimentary for hotel guests. Please be aware that pool opening times vary seasonally, and the lido closes every 6–8 weeks for a deep clean. There is an additional charge of GBP 15, per person and the time is limited to 90 minutes to use the spa facilities. Disappointing.

Room located in outbuilding, the furthest one from main hotel, room was cold, heating wasn't working. I had mentioned this to reception before going out and still when I got back no one has checked. Ended up changing rooms which was a lengthy affair. Breakfast was not the best, food was luke warm sat under heat lamps. Service at dinner was shockingly slow despite being the in only person dining, for quite some time.

Comfy room and a great pool
Pros:

Lovely to be able to use the mineral pool. Our room overlooked it which was great. Comfy room and a short walk into town

Pros:

A Hidden Gem
Pros:

The location of our room was perfection for 2 mobility impaired people, could basically park outside the ground floor room. The room itself was spacious, comfortable and mostly clean, just a few small areas in the bathroom needed a bit more attention to detail. The terrace overlooking the pool area was wonderful. There was a hairdryer and iron provided as well as a kettle, coffee, tea, sugar, milk, biscuits and bottled water. The staff we saw were wonderful.

Cons:

There was a lack of accessible information regarding the Internet, restaurants and pool. A small leaflet or sign explaining these things in the room would have been perfect

Also the previously mentioned bathroom, there was black along the bath panel where it met the bath edge and also a little under the safety mat inside the bath. Other than that it was immaculate and very comfy.

The setting and the swimming pool are exceptional and why we came, and are likely to return for

Access to swimming pool was the main reason for our visit and this was great
Supper was satisfactory, although our order was got wrong twice and service was quite slow, the staff were very polite.
We liked the character of the main part of the hotel and would like to be able to know a bit more about the history of the hotel and the town.

Cons:

A family room is usually larger than the one that we were given. Providing 4 glasses and 4 mugs in a normal sized hotel room with 2 beds fell a bit below our expectations and smaller ( but just as, if not more expensive) than other family rooms that have stayed in elsewhere.

Will never go back, horrid

The location was perfect

Cons:

The room was out dated, cold, we were in one of the garden rooms, overlooking the green swimming pool. I can’t imagine the last time that was cleaned. Screws were sticking up on the carpet rail, my hubby caught his foot on one. The towels looked like they had already been used. The breakfast was disappointing, more like premier inn than Radisson. They didn’t do porridge, the baked beans were put out fresh but looked like there had been standing for ages the same as the rest of the pre cooked food.
