Clean and tidy
Great location and quiet and comfortable
No issues we were upgraded on arrival which was a lovely surprise and start to our holiday after a long flight
Friendliness and cleanliness overall was great
No tv remote
Reception didn’t answer the phone or do much to help when needed
No room service
Access to spring water swimming pool
No vegetarian items for breakfast. Offered compensation which didn't come through. Broken shower. Very disappointed in quality of hotel
Lovely warm traditional place that evokes classic spa breaks.
Nothing
Lovely old building, well situated
Very ordinary hotel breakfast,
Beautiful place, amazing lido which is part of the price to use. Good food.
Fabulous hotel. Amazing staff- especially Simran who was incredibly smiley, friendly and helpful- a total credit to the hotel. The room was spacious, spotless and had such a comfy bed, along with a lovely view of the pool.
The annexe is dated and not as pretty as the main hotel but still very comfortable.
The breakfast was fabulous and plentiful. We will definitely return.
If I was forced to leave something- our towel rail didn’t work but that really was incredibly minor.
Location is excellent.
Breakfast was very nice and a lovely variety
Comfy beds, warm rooms heating was great
Lovely new or updated bathrooms
Swimming pool
Bathroom could have been cleaner
Bedroom was a little bit dusty and the telephone had coffee marks
The location of the hotel is great for walking and exploring. The staff were friendly.
The whole hotel could do with a little spring clean and refurb and access to the spa for hotel guest should be available at all times. We upgraded to a junior suite and as the sofa was just looking at a wall it wasn’t used and therefore felt we didn’t get good Value for money. The breakfast was also not the best. Soggy hash browns and watery eggs.
Character! The cold spa pool is unmissable
Still in need of some decorative improvements
Staff were amazing and a credit to the hotel
The property needs significant repairs. I am sure years ago it was a stunning property but it’s now cold, tired and rundown. Update the pricing to reflect the reality of your hotel.
The staff were all amazing and so helpful.
The room was tired, shower was blocked, the corridor outside our room on the ground floor had a broken external door that anyone could enter. The shower gel in shower was watered down. For a family room just not very thought through, the kettle was on a low table?!
