It was a lovely hotel.
I had to change room because of cockroaches and rat. The new room had cockroaches too.
Bets hotel in Nepal
- The location was superb. In the heart of Thamel.
- Generally staff was nice and helpful.
- You can asked them to pack your breakfast in case you need to catch sunrise
- The bathroom was different from what we saw in photos. We booked this hotel because we expected that the wet and the dry zone would be separated by the glass door. but it was not.
- During our stay there were 2 cleaners. One cleaner would be decent. The other always forgot to refill our bottled water, shampoo, body wash, tea and coffee and never made our bed properly.
I have stayed at this hotel several times and I love it! Staff are friendly, room is very spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast is awesome! It is in Thamel and within walking distance of many shops and places to eat.
Luckily we were upgraded, otherwise many rooms don't have windows to the outside.

I will start with why we chose this particular hotel. After arriving in Kathmandu in the evening, we were waiting for a transfer to Ramechhap which was to take place at 1 a.m. We did not want to wait on the street and asked the hotel if we could wait in the lobby. The incredibly nice staff said yes. The behavior of the staff made us decide to choose this hotel for the last few days of our stay in Kathmandu after returning from the mountains. It was a very good choice. The room was very clean and cleaned every day. Comfortable beds allowed for a great night's sleep. The breakfasts in the hotel restaurant were delicious and the selection of products was really wide. The restaurant staff was also incredibly nice and the lady from the restaurant advised me on choosing a gift for our Nepalese friend. The airport transfer was organised by the hotel and everything went smoothly and on time.
The place is really worth recommending and the service is simply fantastic 😀

Great location….in the heart of Thamel. Hotel has great variety of dining offering a very good pizza restaurant, indian and chinese restaurants as well as a great burger place
A gym would have been nice
Not much. The hotel did allow us a late checkout which was helpful.
Staff were frustrating and useless at virtually interaction. Not once was there any apology or any humbleness in relation to the many shortcomings.
Check in process was one of the slowest I’ve ever experienced.
Door lock mechanism repeatedly stopped working, requiring a painful process with front desk and handyman to fix each time.
Rooms were extremely noisy (to the point of disturbed sleep) due to street traffic and missing window seals.
Location in the middle of the Thamel. Friendly staff.
Outdated bathroom.
