Lemon Tree Hotel

This must be the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in Asia for a number of reasons but staff very kind and helpful and overall very clean,
1 we only had hot water 1 day out of 4, but when it was hot very good strong shower.
2 the noise was constant very loud and disturbing, traffic cars beeping horns, dogs barking 4 till late evening, birds, pigeons and crows dawn till dusk.
3 guests arrive from the night buses arriving to rooms from 3.30 to 5.00 talking banging luggage trolleys.
4 nearby construction and factory 7 days a week.

The managers day/night and cleaning and restaurant staff where super helpful and super nice and overall the location is excellent as food shops coffee houses and the main sights and transport are all close at hand, local bus station 5 mins slow walk away.

This was my first time in Chandigarh and I stayed with Lemon Tree Chandigarh.The hospitality which I was given was extraordinary and specially thanks to Mr. Surat to be in touch with me every time during my stay and kept asking me for any assistance and anything which was brilliant by him. Other staff are really nice too and never disappointed me in any services. And breakfast was really amazing. It was a lovely stay with Lemon tree

Owsome hotel with great facilities Mr Manoj the GM he is very nice person with a golden heart he helped us alot like family as we were having issues with the currency one of the staff called Mr raghav is also a good person who took good care of booking and stay overall.

My stay at the Lemon Tree Hotel in Kalina was a delightful experience. The hospitality was exceptional, with staff members Nagma, Shruti, Madan, and Vinayak consistently exceeding expectations. Their friendly and attentive service made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout my stay.

The food at the hotel's restaurant, Citrus Cafe, was equally impressive. The menu offered a wide variety of dishes, catering to different palates and dietary preferences. Every meal I enjoyed was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.

Overall, my stay at the Lemon Tree Hotel in Kalina was positive. The combination of excellent food, warm hospitality, and attentive staff made it a truly enjoyable experience.

we visit 1st time in lemon tree hotel in kebab theather which was very nice we meet with chef ashish who was excellent person the way he treat us that was outstanding and nitin with bharat the food we order bagara dam baigam and paneer pasanda which was made by chef. yash and chef sajid very nice hosptiality we will visit again

I was at lemon tree for 15 days the hospitality service is quite excellent Staffs are super professional and friendly.Any request or requirements here are fulfilled with immediate responses. Would recommend everyone to pay a visit worth the time and money.

The AC did not work, bugs everywhere in the room and kept biting all night. Charged me for the airport shuttle even though when I booked, the booking mentioned free airport shuttle.

I have had a short a sweet stay here! And I must say, all the smiles and all the warmth made each day so special!!! A very special thanks to Goutam Dutta, for helping me out whenever he could! Mr. kunal at the reception and all the staff of Citrus !!!

Lemon tree hotel is very aesthetic and soothing. I had a pleasant stay of over 10 days here. The staff is very professional and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The housekeeping staff keeps the rooms very neat and create a new towel craft work everyday. Very sweet of them. Would like to conpliment Sakshi, Raja, Sumit(restaurant), Asheesh(concierge) and Asif. That's most of the names I remember but each member of the staff is wonderful. 5 stars

I stayed in Lemon Tree hotel in Paknajol, Thamel (not associated with the famous hotel chain of the same name) for 3 nights in June 2022. I booked a deluxe single room via MakeMyTrip. The room was small but perfect. It had everything one would need including wifi, hot shower, a spacious closet, neat and clean bedsheets and towels etc. Housekeeping came to the room daily to clean the bathroom and make the bed. They even replaced the perishable items like mineral water and bath soap. The hotel is situated in the tourist hotspot of Thamel but still a little distance away from the busy chaotic area near Narsing Chowk. No bars with loud music or dance clubs nearby. You can get a good night's sleep after a tiring day. Last but not the least, the staff were always polite and helpful - even while I woke them up in the middle of the night to open the gate. With discount the price of the room was less than 1000 INR a day, so it was complete value for money for me.

A family member and I stayed here for 1 + 3 nights.

First the positives.
Location is fantastic: 5 minutes walk to Sorakhutte bus terminal, 5 minutes walk to Thamel. Area is fairly quiet at night, unlike Thamel (before vehicles were banned, not sure how is it like now)
Breakfast is fantastic! Lotsa drinking water available.
Room is clean and toilet has real hot shower.
Service is fantastic. The main guy there (sorry can't remember your name) speaks very good English and is always ready to help.

The not so good positives.
Some rooms are bigger than the others even though they belong to the same category of rooms.
The beds and pillows can be better.

The lemon tree hotel is placed on a good location near the tourist bus stop to pokhara (5 min walking), it is also in the middle of the touristic neighbourhood of thamel, where you find lots of restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly, on request they booked bus tickets, taxi etc without trying to convince you of any unnecessary things. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was good. Five dots for a good and cheap hotel in the middle of kathmandu!

I stayed at Lemon tree hotel this time too. This time I stayed here total four nights before and after the tour. Most of the staffs are same. They did very warm welcome. I felt own second home. Can't wait to stay again. Very recommended hotel.

Given the number of hotels and "hotels" (aka hostels) in the area, I really enjoyed my stay at Lemon Tree. It was kind of required that I stay there for a couple nights because it was included in a tour I booked, but I ended up cancelling my other hotel reservation and booking a few additional days at Lemon Tree through hotels.com when the tour package was over. The breakfast is included (7am-9:30am), there's a hot shower with shower sandals for you to use, free liters of mineral water in your room, air conditioning that's easy for you to control via a remote, and a security guard to lock/unlock the front gate when it gets too late at night.

I left a postcard in my room and forgot after I had checked out and left. They managed to get the postcard to me so that I could send it before leaving Kathmandu - I'd bet most hotels in Thamel wouldn't do you the same service. Location is amazing and everything is walkable (I live in NY so everything within 40 min is walkable though so maybe take that with a grain of salt). You usually have to use Z Street to access Thamel the most directly, which is a bit dangerous since it's so narrow that you have to yield to motorcycles, but you get used to it.

Overall, given cost of the hotel and service received, Lemon Tree is a great place in terms of altogether value.

Clean and modern hotel. Situated 2 min walk from the main Thamel tourist district, yet in a quiet side street away from the hustle and noise.

We stayed here as part of our EBC tour package, therefore airport pick up etc was included. Our flight was over 2 hours delayed, however our driver was waiting for us with a big smile. When we had to rush to the airport for an early flight to Lukla, the staff made us take away breakfast wraps and sandwiches, great service.

I stayed at this hotel 3 nights after and before my Annapurna base camp trekking. This hotel is located just near to the Thamel market where you can get trekking gear till late evening. Room is clean and cozy. The front desk staff is really friendly and helpful . They serve very delicious breakfast with many choices.
I definitely stay at this property on my next visit to Kathmandu.

I had a another wonderful and comfortable stay at this hotel. The services was great as before. Almost all staffs are same and they welcomed me very warmly. They were so happy to see me again. The room was cleaned, strong wifi, delicious breakfast and friendly staffs as before. I would like to back again for my next trip.
