Good location and we appreciate the only valuable member of the reception team, Linda, who always did her best to make us feel comfortable during the stay.

Cons:

We stayed at the Oasia various times in the last 4 years, however our last stay left us deeply disappointed. We entered the reception finding a very distracted staff member using his mobile, no greetings nor acknowledgment; we pointed this out during an extremely long check in procedure because it was unusual and inappropriate. The very rude front desk male receptionist literally shouted on us that we’re not the only guests and he was busy with other tasks. This is completely unacceptable and the opposite of a good customer service, he also walked in the back office to tell his story with everyone laughing at us. This receptionist should not be employed at what he called a “Singaporean business” because he’s definitely not matching the company standards. He also coughed on our credit card and passports without covering his mouth, no apologies. Another major issue is that we found our room completely infested by small white larve hanging from the ceiling and falling to the floors and bed, we managed to get through it a couple of nights, however they increased in number and it was just disgusting. We asked to change room (even a lower category, as long as it was clean) and the receptionist first denied saying there was no availability, the next day thankfully Linda managed to give us another room for the last night of our stay. We noticed how low the hotel has gone, despite their efforts to renovate the rooms (disrupting the guests with constant construction noises on all floors). We used to leave good reviews, however they proved not to be able to keep up their standards.

Convenient location, overall a comfortable stay. Would also like to commend the friendly staff at front desk and the cafe (breakfast buffet area). Service was great.

Cons:

Generally value for money but if I had to share a negative feedback, I felt the room was quite dated and had a musty smell when I entered.
