Canceled my room at 3 PM on check-in day with a fake excuse; completely unreliable for travelers.

Avoid booking here if you actually need a place to stay. I was traveling to HCMC with my rugby team for a tournament, only to have the Bay Hotel cancel my reservation at 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. Their excuse was that I hadn’t 'prepaid,' despite the fact that prepayment was never offered as an option during the booking process.

They left a guest stranded in a foreign city with zero notice, likely because they overbooked and chose to bump me. If you’re traveling for an event or as part of a group, do not trust this hotel to honor your reservation. Utterly unprofessional and unreliable.

Pros:

Отель в самом сердце Сайгона.

Мы остановились в потрясающем угловом номере с панорамными окнами и видом сразу на две стороны. Из окон открывается вид на дом-«подарок» и небоскребы центрального Хошимина.

Бассейн на крыше просто потрясающий — идеальное вдохновляющее место для проведения вечеров. Из него видно возвышающийся небоскреб Marina Central с его фасадами-экранами и открытыми террасами на высоте.

Внизу отеля расположено несколько огромных кофеен, а рядом — улицы со всевозможной едой.

Проживание в этом отеле внесло свой неповторимый положительный вклад во впечатление о всем городе.

Обязательно вернусь!

Prima hotel aan de rand van district 1
Pros:

Lekkere rustige kamer met mooie uitzicht op stad en rivier. Goed ontbijt en goede gym. Minibar inclusief (maar matig gevuld)

Cons:

Hotel ligt ligt net iets buiten het echte centrum van Ho Chi Minh City in de Japanse wijk; trekt daardoor groepen luidruchtige Japanners. Het zwembad op dak is heel klein en nauwelijks stoelen om daarbij te roepen. Rooftop restaurant werd tijdens ons verblijf in gewerkt, was een rommeltje en kon je niet zitten. Vergeleken met andere hotels wel wat aan de dure kant. Voor minder geld zit je in centrum district 1 ook goed.

Attention quand vous réservez ! J'avais réservé une chambre "No view" mais au check-in ils ont voulu me refiler une "No window" une entourloupe qui n'a pas réussi mais qui doit fonctionner pour les moins aguerris ...

Pros:

Beds so comfortable, location quite good, 20 min walk to centre, lots of places to eat nearby. Pool quite relaxing.

Cons:

We chose a windowless room, maybe not a good idea when you're jetlagged as can't tell night from day! Only had one mirror, which was in the bathroom. I'm not a fan of glass bathrooms in the room, though it was frosted glass. The restaurant only had a buffet for breakfast, when alot of people maybe just want a coffee and snack.
