I would not choose to stay there again.
Pros:

It was cute and the 4 bunkers were fun

Cons:

Very minimal water pressure in shower. Unable to rinse shampoo from hair. All 4 travelers with long hair. Hand held part of shower only leaked water no spray and broken controls to adjust spray from rain head to hand held and vis versa. AC unit made a terrible loud noise regardless of fan speed. Had to turn it off to get any sleep and room remained hot. Putting unit on fan only did not stop noise. This was reported to on duty reception who said they called mechanic but never saw any intervention. No other rooms available although I was told they would give us a different room for 2ed night. Painting tape still on wall I. Shower area making it look like it was under repair.

Definitely a good value for the location and friendly atmosphere. Not your typical generic hotel.
Pros:

We liked the location and the very friendly and helpful staff. They offer reverse osmosis water which I was pleased about.

Cons:

The bed frame squeaked with every move and the room had no window that opened to the outside, nor a fan to remove the moisture from the shower, so it smelled a little musty in the room.
There were no meals available and the rooftop bar was not operational.

Less than desirable for the price point, staff was great, but won’t be back.
Pros:

Staff made the stay better and facilitated a move to a more desirable room.

Cons:

The first room we were put in was right behind the front desk. Very loud location from other guest entering and street noises. Also the shower was leaking so the head had no pressure. The next room was a better location and quiet. The bed situation was poor, mattress was directly on the frame leading to a very uncomfortable situation.

Close to the action in the French Quarter, Canal Street, the Superdome and the bus station
Pros:

The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. One was even into the spirits of the party. I love how they had beads ready upon arrival. Location is fantastic. It’s just a short walk from the city’s major locations such as the bus station, the Superdome, Canal Street and Bourbon Street. It has some old charm to it as well mixed with modernity. The lobby is sumptuous and one could spend a great deal of time whiling the hours away there.

Cons:

I hadn’t planned on staying here as my original reservation was cancelled without warning and I had to rebook with another property just about a week before Mardi Gras so the price skyrocketed and thus hit me with an expense that was the last thing I needed. I get it it’s Mardi Gras, but having to fork over for the stay felt unconscionable. Don’t get me wrong I still love the hotel and staff. It was simply a situation I shouldn’t have been thrusted into in the first place.

Really cool hotel on a perfect location to get to know new orleans most famous spots. Would surelly recommend it!
Pros:

The hotel employees were super nice, always ready to help with information and anything that was missing in the room. Location is great and hotel vibes are super cool. We got and appartment with kitchen and it was reallly similar to the pictures.

Cons:

The hand towel holder and the bathroom curtain kept falling during our stay and some dishes were missing on the kitchen. But besided that, acomodation was really confy. Bed and bedsheets were great.

We didn’t feel safe to sleep there!!!

Cons:

I’m very disappointed with our experience. We didn’t even feel safe enough to stay the night. The padlock on the door was broken, and the only working lock was just a regular doorknob lock. The outside door leading to our room barely opened, which honestly made us feel trapped inside. As a parent, I did not feel comfortable letting my child stay there under those conditions. When we brought our concerns to the front desk, the employee didn’t make any effort to fix the situation or offer a solution. We ended up paying full price for a room we didn’t even sleep in. Very upsetting experience.
