The staff was extremely pleasant!! The hotel exterior and interior are very clean and well maintained. I rested very well and didn't hear any noise. I had a minor issue with my shower, I called the front desk and they sent someone right away to fix it. I would definitely stay again!!! I had some wine at the bar and the bartender was very attentive and pleasant.

We visited Queens for a University of Texas alumni event in May 2026. A friend located this Courtyard by Marriott and from the moment we arrived, the front desk staff was professional, friendly and courteous. My room was well-appointed, secure and had a glorious view. The location was perfect for our event in Astoria. I would recommend and have recommended this Courtyard for a visit to NY. The cold water and fresh fruit/cookies in the Lobby were a welcome treat after a long day sightseeing and playing in NY. Pinki, a member of the front desk staff, went above and beyond when I requested a driver to the airport. Much appreciated.

My name is Oye and my stay at Courtyard by Marriott Long Island was absolutely amazing! This is by far one of the best hotels I have stayed at in Long Island, New York. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and attentive.
One thing that truly stood out was the housekeeping team. They made sure my room was spotless every single day. The room was always clean, fresh, and well-maintained, which made my stay even more comfortable and relaxing.
The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable, and conveniently located. The customer service was excellent, and everyone went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant experience.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience at Courtyard Long Island City/New York Manhattan View was extremely disappointing.
I booked a 2-night stay with two rooms for my family trip to New York. Unfortunately, due to severe noise issues, we were unable to sleep at all during the first night. The lack of rest seriously affected my condition the following day and disrupted our travel plans, forcing us to check out early and find another hotel at a much higher last-minute price.
At checkout, the front desk staff acknowledged the situation and clearly told us that a full refund would be issued because of the circumstances. Based on that assurance, we left the hotel expecting the matter to be resolved fairly.
However, what actually happened was very different. Only the unused second night was refunded, while the first night charge remained. More disappointing was that my follow-up emails regarding the promised full refund have received no response at all.
I understand that problems can happen at any hotel. What matters is how management handles those situations afterward. In this case, the biggest issue was not only the poor stay experience itself, but the failure to honor what was promised and the complete lack of communication afterward.
I hope future guests do not experience the same situation.
