Great location bad smell
Pros:

So close to the international terminal was a very convenient location food was good and close to the convenient store for snacks

Cons:

The room had a funny smell to it... it was clean just smelt musty or something was very overwhelming as you entered the room

Abbiamo prenotato una notte in hotel a causa delle coincidenze dei voli. Siamo arrivati a Bali molto tardi con una bambina e non volevamo affrontare un’altra ora e mezza di strada nel cuore della notte dopo oltre 17 ore di viaggio.

Abbiamo preferito riposarci e svegliarci la mattina successiva riposati, pieni di energie e pronti a iniziare la nostra avventura a Bali.

Cons:

La posizione dell’hotel è davvero pessima. È stato molto difficile trovarlo e, con le valigie, raggiungerlo è stato complicato, soprattutto viaggiando con una bambina.

Il percorso tra il terminal e l’hotel passa attraverso un parcheggio che di notte non è per niente rassicurante. C’erano persone dall’aspetto poco affidabile che giravano nell’area e altre che dormivano per terra.

Abbiamo provato a chiamare un taxi direttamente all’ingresso dell’hotel, ma non è stato possibile perché l’ingresso si trova all’interno del parcheggio. Siamo quindi stati costretti, di notte e con i bagagli, a tornare a piedi verso il terminal per poter prendere un Grab.

The overall facilities were clean and the pool had a beautiful view

Cons:

The room itself was not very clean, there were visible splash marks in the bathroom. The buffet breakfast was just not worth it. Overall, it wasn’t worth the money. Next time, I’d stay somewhere close to the airport but not Novotel ever again

Boo to the nay-sayers
Pros:

We selected Novotel Bali Ngurah Rai airport hotel as we coming in after 20 hrs of travel.
Reading some previous reviews, people had complained about the rooms being noisy.
It's at an airport. What do you expect?
However, what we found was that there was barely any noise able to be heard in our room, in the foyer, in the restaurant.
Being at the airport, it is a great place to stay if you are arriving late or have to travel a longer distance before flying out.
Novotel Bali is very comfortable. The rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast was excellent with so many choices of suits all tastes.
I live having inlets when I travel and the one made for me here was one of the best I've had. I always ask for extra chilli and the chef listened...
Staff also are very helpful and friendly, not only in the restaurant (and I'm sorry I didn't get their names for personal mentions) but also on reception. Nilam was especially helpful at reception.
Courtyard, pool area, fish ponds, and plenty of space to move around and relax, despite being on airport ground.
Don't expect a fancy resort beach. That's not what this place is. But if you want a good, relaxing, personable stay, I world definately suggest you consider this hotel before heading to other resorts in Bali or on your way home.

Great location and very convenient
Pros:

Flights from Sydney arrive very late and we chose to stay at Novotel airport hotel in Bali. Was a great choice. Very comfortable beds, very nice and friendly staff (they even upgraded our room) and I would recommend it after a long flight. Recommend it!

The perfect transit hotel! You can literally walk to the hotel from the international departure hall in just a few minutes. The staff is incredibly friendly and the rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable, which is exactly what you need after a long flight. Staff member Nilam is amazing
Pros:

Excellent staff members and service in particular staff member Nilam. She is super helpful , kind and attentive. She helped me order Fruits to the hotel , communicated with the driver on my behalf. I also shared with her I would love to come to bali on my honeymoon and she was so kind to share with me advise on places where to go and places to see , she is so sweet and kind. And I observed that with all her guests. The hotel is also very clean and beautiful. Lovely breakfast buffet.
