Cheap
Had an ironing area off the breakfast room
Close to the ice rink
There were marks and dents all round the room. You could hear banging noises late into the night, possibly kids jumping off beds.
Need to take your own tea and coffees, and collect a kettle from reception if you want a hot drink.
Elevator was sooo slow
Location to Sheffield Arena is brilliant . Prob around 400m away. Also cinema, laser quest , crazy golf and places to eat very close by.
Room is tidy and clean. Basic but it’s an Ibis budget so it says what it does on the tin.
The bunk bed is not for an adult. Getting up to it and out of it …. Is a task that has my wife in stitches , we didn’t want our young daughter sleeping up there as she moves all over the place in her sleep.
The location the most
The size of the room, lack of parking
Good location for the arena.
Clean and comfortable.
No kettle in room so had to pay for coffee.
Tried to get a toastie which Sat's 24/7 but wouldn't do one in the morning
Staff were friendly
Fake Eyelashes in my sons bed which was ment to be fresh bedding . See threw shower screen. Shower smelt vile of sewege. In the other room i booked 2 room shower smelt worse. A few bits on floor of the room. All round awlful stay
Great location just steps away from the arena for our event
Very cozy room with not a lot of privacy, but you get what you pay for and was adequate for our stay.
Lovely hotel close to everything , staff are brilliant
Bed was bit hard.
Only 1 pillow each, would have liked 2. Asked at reception but they’d run out
Location was good.
Limited parking inside and outside. Toilets and showers released a bad smell through out we had to sleep with the window open. We paid a lot for what we got. Wouldn't stay again for that price. I had stayed in ibis many times this was the worst probably due to the fact I paid over £50 per night for it.
The location is excellent for Sheffield Arena. Air Conditioning was usable (Barely a benefit) but seemed old/ dirty.
The hotel was generally very run down. Room didn't seem clean. The rooms toilet and shower were difficult to access (e.g. Handles weren't clear on how to use, signage on doors confusing), beds were uncomfortable (really thin) and could feel the frame. Sink was in the room instead of the toilet room. The advertised flat screen was tiny (approx 14 - 16 inch). Food was pricey despite being a microwave meals and breakfast didn't give many choices and seemed poor quality.
The staff very helpfull and poliete
The bed was uncomfortable
The location in relation to the arena was splendid
The bed was not made on arrival and there is no aircon
The microwave and kettle in the foyer was for all guests so great for meals.
Great location for the arena.
We managed early check in (only 30 mins early but still) as the room was ready.
Decent size carpark £7.95 noon to noon.
There were people running up/down and screaming on the corridors on floor 3 from 2am. Nobody came to ask them to be quiet so If carried on for hours.
Ideal for a short stay if visiting the Arena! Staff very friendly & helpful
Nothing really. It’s listed as a budget hotel so we knew what to expect.
Would absolutely stay again for a night or 2
Perfect for our short trip and close to what we needed
