Booked for a colleague who enjoyed the stay.
The only issue we had is that we received a parking fine for the car park even though we had registered and paid for parking. We were told that there was an issue with they system and many people were receiving fines. Luckily we had kept the receipt but it still took a lot of fighting with Parking Eye to get the fine revoked.
Return Visit and Standards as good as previous visits.
Paying extra for Parking
Friendliness of the reception staff . Always polite and helpful
For the money I paid i was happy and can't complain
I stayed here for two nights while attending an agility show nearby. It's a budget hotel, and while the rooms are simple, it had everything I needed for my stay.
The standout for me was the staff. Everyone I spoke to was really friendly and welcoming, especially the night team. I checked in quite late on Thursday evening with my Border Collie, and they made us both feel very welcome after a long drive.
I was leaving the hotel between 5:30am and 6:00am each morning and didn't get back until late on Friday evening, so I didn't spend a huge amount of time there. However, it was clean, comfortable and exactly what I needed after long days at the agility show.
If you're looking for an affordable, dog-friendly place to stay in the area, I'd happily recommend it.
reasonably priced
Very friendly staff
No glasses in the room. Had to go to reception to get a glass to have some water. No tea and coffee or kettle which, despite being a budget hotel, I would have expected
I really liked the mirror
Good
All good
The breakfast was great very tasty and lots to choose from. Location was great only 15 mins from the festival I attended.
The shower would get the floor soaking.
Air conditioning in room and stuff were super friendly on arrival
Cool room
Good breakfast but often waiting for items to be replenished.
Budget in every sense, not enough room to swing a cat , deluxe room means a wall between bedroom and bathroom, bed uncomfortable, one other chair plastic , staff looked miserable and seemed everything a hassle.
Same price as Best western mickleover room 3 times bigger and more comfortable
