Friendly staff, but poor cleanliness, an unusable air conditioner, and an unexpected extra charge made this a disappoint
Pros:

The staff were polite and friendly, and the location was convenient.

Cons:

The room was not clean, and the bed sheets were dirty on arrival. The biggest issue was the air conditioning, which was locked at 16°C with no option to adjust or turn it off. It made the room uncomfortably cold, caused me to become sick, and I was unable to sleep properly. In addition, I was charged around $35 more than the price shown on Booking.com, which I only noticed after checking out.

الفندق جيد من الداخل ونظيف والطاقم بالنسبة للولد حسين وريان مرتبين وتعاملهم ممتاز

بارك الفندق سعر الليلة 7 دولار حسب ما بينوا الموظفين انه استثمار وطبعا هذا بخلي شي سلبي على الفندق والغرفة واضعين بيه فقط 2 ماء وثاني يوم ماكو لا مي ولا اي شي
مع العلم اكو فنادق يوميا تقدم الماء والشاي والقهوة بشكل مجاني التكييف كان نوعا ما ضعيف ومكان الفندق مو حلو داخل ازقة ضيقة جدا

Very welcoming, I was just in transit this time on the way to damascus having used beirut airport. It will be very good to return soon as planned when I actually stay in beirut to see beirut in a few days. Hussein checked me in and was great, as were the other staff I interacted with there. He advised me very well for my planned itinerary and made checking in seamless. Others too were very happy to talk and give me information about the country for my trip.
You can walk to the sea in 10mins (London pace but still close) and Hamra is a famous area to stay in with plenty of stores and seems very safe.
