The bathroom needed some maintenance. The extractor fan was hanging out of the ceiling and the shower only had hot water (no cold).
Room was bigger than I expected. Very clean and functional.
Plug points were ill placed near the desk for my laptop and straighteners. There isn’t enough room to plug in. Managed to stretch from other areas. I was please to find a fan in the wardrobe but it was a bit dusty. Windows don’t make any difference due to their position.
Location was good, staff friendly

The weather was scorching with no A/C, which is unusual for modern hotels.
The window didn't close and the traffic noise kept me awake.
This was the same in all rooms as we were a party of 6

Lovely warm staff had an issue with the shower head but soon sorted by a lovely lady from reception.also liked the little nature reserve just the other side of the road , lovely shaded paths ,also close to bus stop for the city and great value in this day and age
Kind of stuck on an industrial estate , only Damon's restaurant or a carvery place just down the road ,so for anything interesting it does mean going back into the city which is 20-25 mins on the bus ,cheap nasty coffee and tea bags ahhhch !!

Not a lot about this motel impressed me like I thought it wud have, Damon's motel SHUD of been an outstanding stay with cleanliness of the cleanliness, but sadly not n IL not be bk there in a hurry.
