De locatie en de tuin zijn erg mooi, natuurlijk, met een mooi uitzicht op de bergen.
De kamers ook, ook mooie ligging. Wij zaten wel in de cottages.
Het eten beviel ons ook.

El desayuno bueno. Solicité mermelada para un pan conmantequilla y me dijeron que no tenían mermelada. En la noche pedí para merienda un poco de fruta y yogur y me dijeron que esas cosas no están en el menu de merienda. La cecina es muy mala en una región en donde este producto es muy bueno.

Amomoxtli didn’t just meet expectations, it surpassed them. One of the most memorable hotel stays we’ve had in a long time, and the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary.

The staff are kind, food is delicious and the spa treatments are INCREDIBLE. I highly recommend staying!!!

Our stay at Amomoxtli was nothing short of magical. The spa experience was a true highlight—our first temazcal (sweat lodge), led by Bruno, was deeply grounding, and the massages by Mara and Heliane were exceptional. The on-site restaurant was consistently excellent, with thoughtful and delicious vegetarian options. The grounds are impeccably maintained and exude tranquility, making it easy to fully unwind. Poolside relaxation was effortless, with beds always available. The staff went above and beyond, especially the front desk team who assisted us seamlessly over WhatsApp with taxis and even late-night cravings. A beautifully run property that feels both luxurious and genuinely caring—we can’t wait to return.

Staying here made this one of the best birthdays ever. The location has absolutely breathtaking views and ambiance in every part of the property. Food/beverages was amazing as well as the daily activities such as yoga, meditation, guided walks through the town and more. The spa services are also to die for. But the best part is the staff. Everyone is extremely attentive and they are able to anticipate your every need. It is truly a luxury stay! Special shout out to our main concierge during our stay, Antonio. At a certain point I definitely felt my family was a bit needy with requests, however day after day, he assisted us with all our needs gracefully, timely and with such warmth! Because of him this will definitely be my go to choice of accommodation whenever I am in the area again :)

Amomoxtli is, without exaggeration, one of the best experiences I’ve had in my life and I’ve traveled quite a bit. Staying here was a completely random choice; we were on our way to a wedding in Jiutepec and decided to make a pit stop in Tepoztlán. It ended up becoming the highlight of our entire trip.

From the moment you walk in, you feel an immediate sense of peace. The grounds are unbelievably beautiful, lush, serene, and thoughtfully designed. We stayed in a courtyard room, which made accessing the amenities so easy and convenient. Every morning, a little basket gets delivered to your door with coffee which quickly became my favorite part of the day. I looked forward to it every single morning!!

We stayed for four days and booked massages and treatments on three of those days. They were some of the most incredible spa experiences I’ve ever had. Alexandra and Claudia were absolutely fantastic, so talented, warm, and professional. I highly, highly recommend booking treatments during your stay. They are worth every second.

The restaurant, Mesa de Origen, was another standout. The space is stunning, the service was exceptional, and the décor was on point. The menu was unlike anything I’ve ever tried — creative, elevated, and beautifully thought out in every detail.

The pool service team also deserves special recognition. Iraudis took such amazing care of us all three days, always making sure we had everything we needed and keeping us fed!

The only thing to note is that there’s no gym on the property, but honestly, after doing the brutal Tepozteco hike, you won’t even miss it lol.

Amomoxtli is the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave. If you are considering staying here, do it. It’s pure magic.I think about this place every day since I got back!

The overall atmosphere was very tranquil and relaxing! We were taken away by there sheer beauty of this location with the mountain backdrop and amazing views directly from the pool. The room had a natural elegance, unique aroma and was quite comfortable with our very own fireplace! Also, the restaurant (Michelin star) was superb and absolutely delicious! The road getting here is a bit bumpy but all in all worth the experience and very clean with attentive staff.
