We were given diamonds of the day as we let the team know we just got engaged and we thought this was lovely.
Pros:

Ruaridh on reception was fantastic, very accommodating and friendly.

Cons:

The mattress could have been comfier but it didn’t impact our stay.

Ok, I guess... expected a bit more cosyness.
Pros:

Breakfast was good, a lot to chose from. When we arrived earlier than anticipated the front desk officer offered us to enroll in the "club" which was a quick sign-up. By signing up we got to check in early, got a voucher for 2 drinks at the bar and 10% off all purchases from the lobby/bar. Really nice gesture to offer us all that, but just to be fair, I've been offered numerous times early check-in if the room is available, during my travels.
Fair prices at the bar and the pool table looked nice.

Cons:

The front desk rejected one of the small parcels that we had sent to the hotel from Amazon. In the hotels defence, the name of the recipient wasn't the same as the one registered for the room but there were clear instructions on the front of the parcel and the name of the one registered for the room. Who sends a packet to a hotel, if they are not expecting it there? Anyways, for the first time we 1) didn't contact the hotel in advance to ask if it was ok to have items sent to the hotel and 2) didn't have the person registered for the room as the recipient. You might want to contact this hotel in advance, to be on the safe side.
All the staff was a bit weird towards us after it was realised that a parcel had been rejected the day before our arrival. We weren't mad, they weren't rude... things were just a bit weird.
The bed was both kinda stiff and springy and it made a lot of noise, even the smallest movement during the night became a commotion.

Pros:

El hotel esta muy bien, a unos 10 minutos caminando del centro. Buen desayuno y habitaciones amplias y luminosas. El barrio esta bien a escasos minutos hay bares, restaurantes, supermercados, tiendas, etc...

Cons:

A tener en cuenta, el hotel esta situado como encima de un montículo, ya que para llegar por cualquier parte siempre hay que subir cuestas. Esto es solo un dato, no es ningún inconveniente en realidad.
