Important information:

The Hotel Castel is located in the heart of the Valais capital, between castles and vineyards, just below the Château de Tourbillon, only a 4-minute walk from the center of Sion and a 15-minute walk from the train station.

Offering mountain views, all rooms feature a mini-bar, flat-screen TV, free high-speed Wi-Fi, and a shower room.

The hotel has free parking (not reservable).
A shuttle is available on request for your trips in the region (free in Sion, charges may apply beyond).

The Hotel Castel is located near the Tourbillon Stadium, a 5-minute drive from the Sion golf course, and 10 minutes from the Sierre golf course.

Gute Lage für Auto mit gratis Parkplatz, 10 Min. zu Fuss an Bahnhof. Freundliches Personal.

Cons:

Ziemlich warm, man muss die Klimaanlage anstellen (anfangs Juni)

Le buffet déjeuner est pas assez étoffé et il manquait un ventilateur dans la chambre car lors de notre séjour malgré la fenêtre ouverte il faisait très chaud.

Frühstück sehr bescheiden, nur eine Brotsorte, kein Fruchtsalat oder Birchermüsli
Zimmer mit Balkon,Strassenseite sind doch sehr lärmig.Kein Sonnenschirm auf dem Balkon!?

Ich komme gerne wieder beim nächsten Business-Trip.
Pros:

Ich war vor einigen Jahren auch schon im Castel und konnte mich gut erinnern. Die Lage ist sehr gut, da alles zu Fuss erreicht werden kann. Schöne Jogging- Strecke an der Rhone :)

Cons:

Das Morgenessen war gut, ich hätte gerne ein Müesli mit z. B. Haferflocken gehabt. Es gab Kornflex.

Pros:

Le personnel était très sympa et la chambre confortable et propre, rien à dire la dessus même s’il aurait été sympa d’avoir du thé et pas seulement du café. Eau a disposition, frigo, clim portable il fallait laisser le balcon un peu ouvert mais ça ne m’a pas dérangée elle fonctionnait très bien.

Cons:

Le soir la musique du bar était très forte, j’étais au 4eme étage et j’avais l’impression que c’était dans ma chambre, je pense qu’il n’y a pas besoin d’avoir la musique aussi forte quand on a des gens dans son hôtel. Ça s’est arrêté vers 22h mais les gens criaient dehors, j’ai donc plutôt mal dormi.

Komfortabel und gut erreichbar. Sehr nettes Personal, sowohl an der Reception als auch im Restaurant. Das Zimmer mit dem Blick zum Castel motiviert unternehmungslustig zu sein. Allgemein tolle Atmosphäre und entsprechende Ausstattung vorhanden.

Une très agréable halte pour visiter Sion
