Important information:

The Hotel Castel is located in the heart of the Valais capital, between castles and vineyards, just below the Château de Tourbillon, only a 4-minute walk from the center of Sion and a 15-minute walk from the train station.

Offering mountain views, all rooms feature a mini-bar, flat-screen TV, free high-speed Wi-Fi, and a shower room.

The hotel has free parking (not reservable).
A shuttle is available on request for your trips in the region (free in Sion, charges may apply beyond).

The hotel also has a café-bar, a large sunny terrace, and a children's playground.

The Hotel Castel is located near the Tourbillon Stadium, a 5-minute drive from the Sion golf course, and 10 minutes from the Sierre golf course.

Une très agréable halte pour visiter Sion
Pros:

La gentillesse et disponibilité des personnes à l'accueil, les bons conseils pour le restaurant du soir, le calme de la chambre, le parking à disposition et gratuit, le balcon de la chambre, l'eau et les cafés offerts dans la chambre.

Il y avait de quoi se faire un café, mais pas de sachet de thé/tisane! Pourtant avec une machine à café si on ne met pas de capsule on peut avoir de l’eau chaude

Totalmente recomendable
Pros:

Muy buena experiencia, habitación amplia, cómoda, limpia y con vistas al Castillo. Personal amable y además es un hotel pet friendly. Bien situado y con parking gratuito.

Cons:

La única queja que puedo poner es que la insonorización de las habitaciones no es la mejor, pero nada que unos tapones no puedan solucionar si eres de sueño ligero.

My stay was short and sweet.
Pros:

I’m a cyclist, and the kind staff allowed me to keep my bicycle on my terrace. I even had a view of the Col that I climbed that day. Coffee in the room was wonderful! Staff was friendly and welcoming.

Cons:

I was on the opposite side of the Castel, so the noise level was higher, due to the road below.

Für 1 Nacht okay
Pros:

Die Lage ist gut um die Stadt zu Fuss zu erkunden.

Cons:

Die Dusche ist sehr alt und das Badezimmer im Allgemeinen könnte mal eine Renovierung brauchen. Der Kleiderschrank sieht aus als ob er bald zusammen fallen würde! Das macht einfach einen „schmuddeligen“ Eindruck.
