Important information:

The Hotel Castel is located in the heart of the Valais capital, between castles and vineyards, just below the Château de Tourbillon, only a 4-minute walk from the center of Sion and a 15-minute walk from the train station.

Offering mountain views, all rooms feature a mini-bar, flat-screen TV, free high-speed Wi-Fi, and a shower room.

The hotel has free parking (not reservable).
A shuttle is available on request for your trips in the region (free in Sion, charges may apply beyond).

The hotel also has a café-bar, a large sunny terrace, and a children's playground.

The Hotel Castel is located near the Tourbillon Stadium, a 5-minute drive from the Sion golf course, and 10 minutes from the Sierre golf course.

Bon rapport qualité prix avec un service attentione
Pros:

L’arrivée autonome à la borne automatique est très facile (et assez lente pour le savourer), le PdJ avec des œufs au plat et un sourire qui vous mets bonne humeur, Le réceptioniste sympathique et attentionné, la propreté, le parking et le restaurant

L’hôtel (bien qu’un très bon état) “est un peu peu passé”

Personnel sympatique et accueillant.
Literie confortable, propreté, grande chambre (suite) avec machine à café, snacks et bouteille d' eau. Petit déjeuner complet.
Bien situé, proche du centre à pied.
Le resto italien en bas de L' hôtel est exceptionnel, je conseille!

Cons:

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. There was a terrible sewage smell in my room that made it impossible to sleep comfortably. My check-in was late, and by the time I noticed how bad the smell was, the reception was already closed, so I couldn’t request a room change.

The hotel is acceptable for one night only, but definitely not for a longer stay. The walls are very thin, and you can clearly hear conversations from the neighboring rooms, which makes it hard to relax.

Unfortunately, this will likely be my last experience with this hotel.

Pratique et confortable.
Pros:

Le déjeuner est top !
Chambre bien préparée et accueillante.
La chambre est grande avec de l’espace.

Cons:

Il a été rénové, et on voit clairement le neuf par-dessus le vieux dommage.

Bien placé dans cette superbe ville de Sion - son seul grand avantage !

bien placé, parking gratuit, lit confortable, grande chambre, 4 doses de nespresso

Cons:

mauvaises odeurs dans la chambre (égouts, cigarette)

pas insonorisé du tout
aucun geste commercial pour les désagréments
pas de thé que du café
