the hotel equipment is worn out. The lock in my room is broken but the hotel manager sent me to open the lock with a card three times. as a result, they called a locksmith and he spent two hours breaking the lock. The manager Rezo was rude and refused to call the hotel manager
It's already 4th year we are celebrating New Year in Borjomi Palace, thank you especially to Anna Svanidze, Natia Sidamonidze, and to restaurant's manager, also to all the stuff(restaurant, spa and health center).
We will meet again!🫶🏻
Beautiful property and attentive staff
Very nice hotel, especially when you get a 3-meal a day option.
Hotel is interesting and comfortable. Wish the rooftop restaurant/bar was open as the view would have been great. Cleaning housekeeping staff were very nice. Only a few minute walk down to other restaurant options which was super. We would stay there again.
I had one of the worst experiences during my four city trip to Georgia, I did third party booking so instead of family a triple room was booked, I did talk to the tourist company who did the mistake however the staff was very inconsiderate and I had to separate since we were 2 adults 2 kids, the bed given in triple room is not worth sleeping, Air-conditioning in old building is worst, due to medical Spa you see crowd of 60 plus mostly, over hyped, not worth at all.
Wir haben extra dieses Hotel genommen wegen Spabereich,Schwimmpool ist zu gewesen und Sauna für 0,5 Stunde zu teuer gewesen.
The best amenity of Borjomi Palace is friendly, helpful and responsive personnel!
Very basic but clean. Hotel needs a renovation. Fine for a night after a long hike but not a place where you want want to stay longer.
Lovely place and live band made our stay stunning
Staff were unfriendly and unwilling to help with even basic requests. I would go as far to say they treated us badly, like we were an inconvenience to them. The Hotel refused to provide coffee in the rooms even though there are kettle and cups in the room (we had to buy our own coffee) and the building we stayed in was dimly lit, no staff around and had rubbish and unused equipment stacked up in the communal areas. The place felt abandoned. We did not experience any of the luxury or great amenities expected for the price we paid from a 4 star hotel. The hotel offered us a free dinner which was nice. Overall it was a weird and unpleasant stay.
It makes one feel like royalty;superb location dominating town
Such a beautiful location in the heart of borjomi. The palace is high up on a hill overlooking the city, and the amenities and services on offer are superb. The breakfast was also great and traditional.
Rooms were very comfortable if rather small. Good bathroom with nice shower. Lovely setting overlooking the town with nice dining room balcony to sit out on. The dinner was buffet style - ok but definitely catered to the Russian, Asian and Caucasus travelers with indifferent fish and meat dishes. The dining room was very Soviet in style - and the staff to match. Enjoyed the sax and piano player at dinner playing some Georgian and old classics tunes. Breakfast was actually very good with excellent coffee. Probably the best place to stay in Borjomi but would question its four status.
This place has too many rooms. There is no cosy feeling. When you come into the dining area (for breakfast or dinner) it is devastating because the noise is obtrusive. People running around, this is not a place for recreation (what it is supposed to be). The service is mediocre like the total place. Just too big and impersonal. But the massage I had was awesome, really one of the best. The room was small but okay.
Ok so, the information reads "wellness retreat and spa." This is not a misrepresentation at all. There is a 5 page list of services provided, and enough people walking around in spa provided robes and slippers for one to determine that the business is flourishing. That said, this is definitely a more Soviet approach to wellness, and might come off a bit weird to western minds, even those open to alternative therapies. There was some weird stuff on that list. However, massages and facials are something that anybody can enjoy, and so we did. Both my husband and I had a massage each day of our stay. They were not the best we had ever received but hey... they were ok and worth every Lari. Also available on the long list - hammam and mud baths. The prices are great!
Our room was a two room suite at the end of building 3. I don't recall asking for a suite, nor were we upgraded, so I guess this is what was available at booking time. The room was spacious, quiet and clean, with a little balcony that was well shaded. Great space for reading after a massage. No special in room amenities except for the aforementioned robes, which were roomy and thick. We loved them. Breakfast was not the best one we had on our trip, but it was OK. It suffered from a lack of the fresh fruit that was abundant in the other places we stayed and the coffee was weak. There was however a large selection of meat and cheeses on the buffet. Dinner at the top floor restaurant afforded a great view, a good wine list, and Georgian food that was about average. To be honest, all in all I found the place to be very kitschy and endearing. For the price we would stay here again.
The landscape from the hotel is excellent.the breakfast is very good, and the personal is wiiling to help anytime.
Room was comfortable enough but certainly not too large. Bed was comfortable for about seven hours but then my body couldn't take it any longer.
The buffet breakfast has a lot of variety though lacking in fresh fruits and cereals. Coffee is filtered with freeze dried crystals on the side to strengthen it.
Buffet dinner was better than the breakfast. Fresh salads and familiar Georgian dishes are available. Mostly flavourful with a couple of misses (aka bland).
Not bad, not great.
