The staff were friendly, nice welcome drink and cool towel on arrival, nice pool and lakeside view

Cons:

The rooms are a bit dated and bathroom needs redoing with mould appearing on the ceiling. There’s a raised lip going into the bathroom which is unsafe as I kept tripping on it.

Beautiful views to the lake. Nice place with restaurant, pool and garden. Lovely staff.

Cons:

The hotel is outdated. They need to pay for a renovation as it’s a five star hotel. Specially the bathroom.

A localização é simplesmente top, perfeita para quem procura tranquilidade. O staff é super simpático e sempre disponível, tornando a estadia ainda mais agradável. O pequeno-almoço é ótimo, com variedade e qualidade.
O lago em frente ao hotel é lindíssimo, e tanto a piscina como os quartos com vista para o lago tornam a experiência ainda mais relaxante.
Adorámos cada momento da nossa estadia. Altamente recomendado!

Perfect and wish we had more time to stay longer here
Pros:

Such an amazing stay. Greeted on arrival with a drink and were taken such good care of. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The swimming pool and view of the lake was also beautiful. We also had a lovely spa treatment which was extremely easy to arrange and relaxing. We wish we could have stayed longer but used it as a base to go on our safari.

Krásný hotel u jezera
Pros:

Velmi překrásné místo u jezera, naprosto milý personál a skvělé služby. Uvítali nás lotosovými květy. Využili jsme masáže, bazén,
i soukromou večeři u jezera, kde nám kromě soukromého kuchaře a servírky přišel zazpívat pár písní zpěvák s kytarou. Navštívili jsme národní park Yala s jeepem za zvíŕaty.

My room is 3 floor difficult with my legs to walk no elevator
and booked double bed they gave twin after that thay but a duvet and make it double and when we stay ther roof cevilion strap fallen 😂😂 every thing is good i dont like cold food they are serving and too salty

Loved it! Great location, pool & food.
Pros:

I did a heap of research regarding where best to stay to access Yala National Park. I was really pleased with my choice of EKHO Tissa. Other hotels are much closer to the park entrance but are much more expensive. Also, I like to be closer to the town to have the option to walk around a local town and have the option to eat outside the hotel - EKHO ticked these boxes. It had such a lovely feel about it - the reception and common areas had an open plan, tropical feel. The pool was just lovely - it overlooked the lake and to a small island in the lake where water buffalo would swim across to and wallow. We also had some of the best Sri Lankan food there - including a jackfruit curry that I hadn't had anywehre else (and they weren't shy with the spices - great!). We stayed for 2 nights and we never did eat outside the hotel. I would really recommend EKHO Tissa.
