Totally spoilt my time at the hotel

When checking in only to be told that our room had not been payed for , this was a present for my partner , I was soo embarrassed because other peaple where sitting in reception and could hear, I had payed in full weeks before this date , I had to go and find my receipt which resulted my partner knowing how much I had paid , I was then told yes it’s paid in full so so embarrassing and this has put me off returning .

Just what I would expect from Hilton Hotels
Pros:

Check-in was fine, room was very good, breakfast was very good. What I would expect from Hilton.

Cons:

Was a bit of a faff trying to get an invoice for my stay as it was through booking.com and had to chase up a couple of times, but not overly concerned about this
