Very nice, beautiful pool

Perhaps a noisier group of guests than I am used to, but the hotel and staff were wonderful.

The Gig Hotel was absolutely a perfect choice the staff are amazing and so so lovely the hotel is amazing in every way

This is my 8th night at the Gig and I moved to the junior suite after 4 days which is really nice. All the reception staff are amazing especially Ji… recommend the Gig 100 %

Amazing hotel, tge staff are so friendly and helpful 24 hours 7 days a week, always there to help and serve you. I would definitely recommend the the Gig. The rooms are beautiful and the location is perfect.

Hotel staff is very cooperative and helpful.
They welcome us with a smile and roselle herb juice.
We had taken 2 rooms and the view wasnt very great. As one side of it is hotel right next to it.

So they happily. Shifted the room for us.
Though if it gets full.
You will end up getting the view of some other hotel window.

Still, no complaints…

It was a good 2 days and bangla street is right 4 minutes away.

The quality of the hotel is very good, the hotel staff is amazing, the pool is very good and has a wonderful view. It is a place that I totally recommend to everyone!

I made friends with the hotel staff and I miss them, they are wonderful!

I was really looking forward to staying here. We arrived early during a power cut and were allowed to check in straight away, we were “upgraded” but lost our city view and instead looked out at an old man’s condominium who appeared drunk and stumbled around with his doors and windows open so no privacy at all, and we faced appartments and the road on the other side. We had booked twin beds as I was travelling with my adult daughter, we had a king bed which we were told would be made into twin beds at 5pm (this never happened)
The power came back on, hooray! As walking up down the stairs to the pool and bar was becoming tiring.
The hotel smelt, it was very musty and the bedroom was worse, we turned off the aircon in the hopes it was most likely from the air filters, this helped somewhat, but made it very hot over night.
It’s a great location, we enjoyed its proximity to the things we wanted to check out in Patong (we had just left Karon beach)
The pool was freezing cold, most people dipped their toes in and screwed up their faces, we braved it, but couldn’t stay in long as our teeth were chattering.
Back in our room after dinner down the road we were looking forward to a shower, the showers head was so blocked up it didn’t spray well, not enough water pressure and at its hottest was like warm at best.
Time for sleep….. or so we thought, as our upgraded room faced the front of the building, we were kept awake by late night revellers and workers finishing up at all hours and saying good bye and scootering. Eventually around 3am we fell asleep, to be woken by 3.40am to the rubbish truck which stops right outside our window to compact all the streets rubbish for 30mins or so. We were then up at 6am to catch our flight Chiang Mai.
Breakfast was available, but being vegatarian meant beans and rice which we weren’t interested in at that time of the morning.

I didn’t want to be so critical writing this, but it’s all just the facts, we are very good at going with the flow, and in no way expect perfection, but this was just awful. Sorry to say, I would not recommend this hotel, I feel like I’ve wasted my money

I swim on the rooftop to enjoy the exhilarating experience and the breathtaking views.

This place was fantastic. Excellent value for your money here. The gym, sauna, rooftop pool. What more could you want?

Location is great quiet place and breakfast every morning. Safe and family friendly
