Чисто, уютно, толстенные стены старого здания, уединенно, прекрасный воздух и пение птиц за окном и милейший городок вокруг. Обязательно остановлюсь там еще!

Pros:

Habitación simple pero acogedor, muy limpia y con cama y almohadas cómodas, con todo lo que puedas necesitar. Desayuno muy completo y parking gratis.

Cons:

Las campanas que suenan bastante pronto por la mañana.

Amazing hotel with outstanding breakfast.
Pros:

What an amazing place to stay in. Very calm, well taken care of, the breakfast is a MUST. Not many choices , but great quality of produce. Parmesan unlimited, and the desserts are absolutely amazing. Best cappuccinos I have had too. The people who work there are also great and very friendly. Great to use it as a base to visit Bologna and Milan, Parma, Modena… I highly recommend it. The rooms are also comfortable, keeping in mind that it is where the monks used to live.

Cons:

You should go only if you have a car.
Also, bring some dark tape with you, as the light from the fire exit, the AC box, or other things in the room cannot be turned off and I had to be putting socks in order to cover them!
Aside from that, I would and hopefully will be back.

Relax prima degli esami
Pros:

È stata la mia prima esperienza al Relais dei Monaci, scoperto per caso su internet mentre cercavo un posto tranquillo dove soggiornare prima di un esame all’università di Parma. La scelta si è rivelata davvero azzeccata: la struttura è immersa in una pace assoluta, perfetta per rilassarsi e concentrarsi. Si percepisce chiaramente il fascino del luogo, un ex monastero, che trasmette una tranquillità unica.

Unico piccolo dispiacere: il ristorante era chiuso la sera del mio arrivo, quindi ho dovuto spostarmi in macchina per cenare. In zona comunque ci sono diversi locali, ma è necessario muoversi.

Purtroppo segnalo una pecca importante relativa al soggiorno nell’ala di San Filippo. Nella sala comune è presente un biliardo che, contrariamente a quanto pensavo inizialmente, è utilizzabile dagli ospiti. La sera alcune persone hanno iniziato a giocare e, a causa dell’acustica, il rumore rimbombava moltissimo, sembrando quasi di averli in camera. Avendo bisogno di silenzio per riposare e studiare, ho dovuto contattare la reception per chiedere gentilmente di interrompere il gioco. È vero che l’utilizzo è consentito fino alle 22:00, ma per chi cerca tranquillità assoluta può risultare disturbante.

Per il resto, esperienza molto positiva: la mattina la colazione era disponibile già dalle 7:00, ottima e varia sia nel dolce che nel salato, con prodotti di qualità. La ragazza in sala è stata davvero gentile e disponibile.

Nel complesso mi sono trovata molto bene e ci tornerei sicuramente, magari chiedendo una sistemazione in una zona più silenziosa, lontana dalla sala biliardo. Mi piacerebbe anche poter provare il ristorante, sperando di trovarlo aperto la prossima volta.
