La Villa luz was beautiful and felt like a giant tree house. I love that is adults only so it was very quiet. The pool is small but very clean and refreshing. The cafe in the property was great when you’re at the pool because you can order drinks and a bite to eat. The food and drinks they prepare are fresh with high quality ingredients. The beach is literally a 2 minute walk and you have access to lots of amazing restaurants on the beach too. Our host (Ania) was friendly and gave us lots of great tips…one day we took a boat to Playa las gatas which was stunning and we also bought a day pass at The Thompson hotel right in front of La Villa Luz and enjoyed the whole day in our private beach chairs with an adult pool and absolutely great service!! I would recommend this Villa to my friends and family and plan to maybe book it for a family trip! FYI the entire staff was AMAZING! Thank you La Villa Luz!!

Beautiful and quiet
Villa Luz is an absolutely beautiful boutique hotel. It is very quiet and private, as there are only 7 rooms. Location is perfect, just a couple blocks off La Ropa beach.
It is definitely NOT equipped for elderly, disabled or anyone who is out of shape, as there are many stairs everywhere, including a spiral staircase to the pool area.
I would have also liked access to coffee in the morning (you have to go to restaurant next door), and bar service at the pool.

with the cost of the hotel room , which is quite expensive for what you get, it would be nice to have a way to make a morning cup of coffee.

The room was horrible and was misrepresented in the pictures. It was horrible! we left and found another hotel to stay.
This was the worst experience I have ever had traveling. Maybe you should be a bit more concerned about scams on rooms!
Top Haus mit aussergewöhnlich schönen Zimmern. die Gartengestaltung ist sehr schön, um den Pool alles ruhig. Sehr freundliches Personal und immer hilfsbereit. Die Managerin versorgte uns permanent mit allerlei Tipps für Essen und Ausflüge.

As a boutique hotel there could be times when you need to go to the front desk which is not always staffed. Instead she had us use what’s up to get ahold of her. Not a big deal really but something to be aware of

Good morning. As per our booking for this accommodation. We have no living room & no continental breakfast is included. I sent a message to the manager & the reply was we did not request a junior suite with a living room. I sent her photos of all documentation from booking.com with regard to this booking she said she would contact you as this information is incorrect. Very disappointing for us & our stay. Either way somebody’s information is incorrect.
Great view. One note - the bar closes at 4pm. Kinda odd. I mean why even have a bar then?
Beautiful small and quiet hotel steps from La Ropa Beach. The staff was excellent and anticipated every move. The room was very clean and we had a lovely balcony that gave us wonderful views. In addition, up one more flight of stairs there is a fabulous and very spacious common area open to all that provided panoramic views of the Zihua beach coast and an option to see the beautiful sunsets. The restaurant offered delicious breakfast and lunch and Chef Ivan will custom create meals for you. The Combi stop and taxi stands are very close should you want to explore other areas of Zihua. Also, many other restaurant options available both on and off the beach.
Perhaps having the option for a Restaurant serving dinner would have been nice. The signage at the front of the building makes it hard to spot. So intimate, that it isn't well known by cabs. There is no elevator for those with mobility issues.
