Just wonderful!
Pros:

Very beautiful and intimate setting. The manager Ania is super helpful and friendly and goes out of her way to make the guests feel comfortable and special.

A beautiful, peaceful and private place to enjoy a beach paradise.
Pros:

The resort is really beautiful, comfortable, and meticulously maintained. Being small and only for adults, we barely saw anyone other than the staff. And the staff was really nice, accommodating, and a pleasure to see each day. The little cafe had a limited but excellent menu and was very convenient for a quick breakfast or lunch. The rooms felt very tropical and each one felt completely secluded and private. It is also a super convenient and quant walk to the beach.

Cons:

Worse part was having to eventually leave! There are a lot of stairs, so it did require some work to get around and the busy road can be a big noisy at first,.. but the ocean, sunny days, and nighttime breezes usually put us right to sleep.

Pros:

Its like a tree house villa. Nicely design with great views. Staff was attentive and the food was great. It is very quiet and private. Only a few minutes walk to La Ropa. It was easy to catch a bus to downtown.

Lovely stay at an adult tree house in Zihua!
Pros:

La Villa luz was beautiful and felt like a giant tree house. I love that is adults only so it was very quiet. The pool is small but very clean and refreshing. The cafe in the property was great when you’re at the pool because you can order drinks and a bite to eat. The food and drinks they prepare are fresh with high quality ingredients. The beach is literally a 2 minute walk and you have access to lots of amazing restaurants on the beach too. Our host (Ania) was friendly and gave us lots of great tips…one day we took a boat to Playa las gatas which was stunning and we also bought a day pass at The Thompson hotel right in front of La Villa Luz and enjoyed the whole day in our private beach chairs with an adult pool and absolutely great service!! I would recommend this Villa to my friends and family and plan to maybe book it for a family trip! FYI the entire staff was AMAZING! Thank you La Villa Luz!!

Pros:

Villa Luz is an absolutely beautiful boutique hotel. It is very quiet and private, as there are only 7 rooms. Location is perfect, just a couple blocks off La Ropa beach.

Cons:

It is definitely NOT equipped for elderly, disabled or anyone who is out of shape, as there are many stairs everywhere, including a spiral staircase to the pool area.

I would have also liked access to coffee in the morning (you have to go to restaurant next door), and bar service at the pool.

no railing to step down into the pool.
Very dangerous for most people trying to get in.
with the cost of the hotel room , which is quite expensive for what you get, it would be nice to have a way to make a morning cup of coffee.
You had to go and buy your coffee every morning.

The room was horrible and was misrepresented in the pictures. It was horrible! we left and found another hotel to stay.
This was the worst experience I have ever had traveling. Maybe you should be a bit more concerned about scams on rooms!

Es waren außergewöhnliche schöne Tage in diesem Hotel!
Pros:

Top Haus mit aussergewöhnlich schönen Zimmern. die Gartengestaltung ist sehr schön, um den Pool alles ruhig. Sehr freundliches Personal und immer hilfsbereit. Die Managerin versorgte uns permanent mit allerlei Tipps für Essen und Ausflüge.

The location is great. The pool is fantastic.

Our room was very small, and the amenities were sparse. Very disappointing for the price point. Breakfast was expensive and not particularly good.

As a boutique hotel there could be times when you need to go to the front desk which is not always staffed. Instead she had us use what’s up to get ahold of her. Not a big deal really but something to be aware of
