I reserved 4 rooms about 5 months before the Baja 1000. About 2 months before the race after all other hotel rooms were sold out they started sending messages through Expedia in spanish that they did not have rooms available for the dates I requested. I'd bet they then rented those rooms for double or triple or to friends.
The great news is Expedia made it right. Thanks Expedia!
There where no elevators or ramps.
There where loud couples. Couldn’t get a good night sleep
It's not revealed in the Travelocity property description that this is a hotel that rents rooms by the hour. The location is OK, but the smell of sewer all night was horrible. The bed wasn't the worst I've slept on, but close. The water pressure in the shower was very low and difficult to regulate hot/cold. No place to hang clothes. Positives? The room appeared to be clean except for the stains on the pillow cases. Noise was minimal.
No parking available inside the hotel . To mani noise all nigth
I have stayed at this hotel several times with a guest. The rooms are fair for the price. But the rooms dont have A/C which is slightly uncomfortable on hot days.
I dislike that Sahara was a not pet friendly, so I had to cancel my reservation with them.
Definitely not wheelchair user friendly. The staff was trying their best to help us, and they had no first floor availability - I had requested that in my reservation and mentioned the wheelchair. They did all sort of tricks to find a room for us on first floor (they made one available last minute), since I wasn't able to cancel. I had to go somewhere else try to find something for myself (paid twice) and my driver had to stay there just not to loose the money. Of course, our room was a last minute thing and needed cleaning.
We had pay all one day before for 2 nights and when we got to Ensenada the hotel clerk had cancel our reservation with out any notice, at the end, expedia work with us to find us other hotel , all hotel book, however they manage to find usca better one no extra cost. I wont ever go there any more, also is far from papas and beer, it looks like 0 starts hotel.
I just didn't like the place, and service. I definitely not recommend to anyone.
To park across the street. To not pay the same rate per night when I requested one more night
The hotel was as expected. The price was low and rightly priced. I satyed a total of three different times in three different rooms and all rooms were ok.
Theis hotel was well priced for what it was. A little outdated, but you get what you pay for here. A good location. I felt safe here.
This hotel was OOOKKKK! If you're just looking for a one night stay. I personally would not stay here again. The rooms were freezing cold and they had no portable heaters, we even asked to pay for one. They were nice enough and send us 2 warm blankets ,but that still was not enough. The room seemed clean overall. I did spot the bathroom and wash area had a bit of mold building up so I did not want anything to do with that. Wifi sucks and they literally have like 6 tv channels to watch. In the night time it gets pretty loud, I feel they should have a rule for that because you could hear all the people walking up or going down the stairs being super loud like at 11 PM (I have a toddler, that's late in my book LOL) Also when we checked in they told us cars were not allowed to park inside, we had to park on their property across the street ,but I did notice cars stayed there overnight so I didn't find that fair. It was a cheap stay so you get what you pay.
simple older hotel but super clean and friendly staff.
security parking and easy to walk around the area and cafes
no one speaks English
freezing cold no heaters
tv remote not working
cheap rooms out of range from free wifi
but clean,10 min walk to center
and clean
very clean hotel, nice staff and close by attraction
The hotel had overbooked so we had to stay elsewhere. It was a sister hotel from the same owner I guess.
The manager was really polite and apologized for the inconvenience
Basics only, but clean and comfortable with good Wifi. Security for car is excellent.
The rooms are very clean, they also have safe parking out side of the hotel, staff was very helpful, they also make you feel welcome and always ready to answer your questions
They really take care of your car if you stay here. They lock up the gates and keep an eye on it via video cameras at night.
Facilities are good and everything you'd expect in a motel is here. No surprises.
