The beds were very comfy. The shower was great. And the breakfast was awesome. And they were super accommodating when I booked the wrong dates and needed to arrive a day earlier!!!

Cons:

We booked it for the pool to relax after some time in Lisbon, but they told us the day before it was out of action for maintenance but you could tell it had been closed for a while before that. So a bit cheeky.

Our stay was very brief, as we arrived late in the evening and left early the next morning. Approaching the hotel, it felt like we might have the wrong address - we were surrounded by farmland, and the entrance was tucked away at the back. However, once we entered the hotel grounds, we were pleasantly surprised. The property is large and very well-maintained, with plenty of parking. Very friendly local cats :-D The room was clean, standard-sized, and felt freshly renovated. We didn’t risk opening the windows - having read previous reviews about flies, but the overnight stay was comfortable. I’d like to give a special mention to the breakfast: the croissants were incredible (definitely try them!), and it was the first time I’ve ever seen port wine offered at breakfast! :-)

Cons:

It makes sense that you can only get here by car or taxi.

Great staff.

Cons:

Had to change rooms as first (9) smelt of sewage in the bathroom. Made sleeping difficult. Prior review comments mention this too. However, on the next day the staff were great & the next room was much better & fine.
