Smoke detector in the room was flashing a BRIGHT white light every 5 seconds. Beds were uncomfortable. And staff was unable to provide a paper receipt due to policy, still waiting on a emailed receipt.
The Ellenboro Sleep Inn was exceptionally clean and the staff was super friendly. I would definitely recommend it to others and would absolutely stay there again. One of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Staff was very accommodating to our needs. The lady at the front desk was very nice and accommodating, and the breakfast bar lady was super friendly and helpful.
The location is very good, it was clean, and breakfast was good.
The bed was extremely hard, I would compare it to sleeping on the floor.
The shower had great pressure BUT we realized after we kept running out of hot water that it was on a timer of some sort. You only got 3 minutes of hot water at a time, you could turn the handle as far to the hot as it would go and lukewarm was as good as it got. I have long, thick hair; it takes 3 minutes to wash it. You could turn the water completely off and give it a few seconds and turn it back on and the water was hot again. We paid extra for a room with a spa tub...if you wanted to fill it with warm water it would probably take several hours of turning the water off and on to cycle the timer. So we wound up taking lukewarm showers all weekend.
The p privacy
It was so clean and well maintained. No “hotel smell”. The breakfast was the best we have ever eaten. And , pet friendly was a bonus.
