Pleasant enough stay
Pros:

Beautiful setting and well maintained grounds and restaurant & bar. Staff were also very helpful and polite.

Cons:

The bedrooms need a little refresh. I moved a few times as the hotel was quiet. Some of the rooms are a bit dark and dingy, with views of the roof and bins. Also no ventilation in a heatwave.

Great 2 night stay in a lovely hotel.
Pros:

Very spacious and comfortable room. Lovely bed. Good location not far from the centre of Cirencester. Staff were all very pleasant and attentive.

The location and a big parking

Cons:

When we arrived we were informed we were 1 day late while we updated our arrival date in February. It confused us a while. But we got an upgrade. When we opened the windows we noticed the frames were not cleaned

Couldn't have asked for a better venue!
Pros:

We held our company summer party at Stratton House Hotel and couldn't have asked for a better venue!

The food was absolutely amazing, with plenty of compliments from everyone who attended, and was fantastic value for money. The venue itself was beautiful and created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration.

We'd highly recommend Stratton House Hotel for anyone looking to host a corporate event or special occasion. Thanks again to Hallie and the team for making it such a memorable evening!

The hot breakfast comes out to your table with no toast
So you then have to go and toast it yourself, which is fine, but by the time you get back to your table your hot breakfast is cold

Quiet and pleasant grounds and public rooms
Pros:

The public rooms were beautiful.

Cons:

The bedroom had seen better days (and this was a complimentary upgrade). The room was hot and stuffy despite a fan (though there was a heatwave)

Breakfast was ordinary and not very inspired. Like most hotels, Stratton cannot cook scrambled eggs and served up dry crumbly yellow stuff.

A very restful stay, I used the Spa which was excellent
Pros:

The Hotel is lovely in a fabulous setting. The staff are friendly and the bar and restaurant are both really nice, the food is excellent.
