Step into the 17th-century charm of Stratton House Hotel & Spa, nestled near Cirencester. Built in the 17th century, the hotel boasts a restaurant and function rooms including business facilities. Guests can enjoy the garden and terrace. The Garden Restaurant is open all day and serves classic British cuisine. It has garden views. A bar and a lounge are available.

Please note some rooms are located on the first floor and can only be accessed by stairs.

Children under 5 sharing a room with their parents will not be charged for accommodations.

Could have been better
Pros:

Staff friendly helpful. See below complaint. The hotel itself is an old building in country side setting within a few minutes of the town centre. Rooms are comfortable with comfy seating

Cons:

Unfortunately went into an empty restaurant for lunch by the time our lunch arrived the whole restaurant had been served before ourselves. At around 8:30 pm on the second night the cold water stopped running and we where unable to flush the toilet and had to use the public toilets on the ground floor. We where given, on asking, a discount on the account.

Really enjoyable stay. We were given a free upgrade and staff were kind and helpful.
Pros:

We got a free upgrade which was great. Really enjoyed the breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful

Cons:

Towels in one of our rooms were thin and unsatisfactory. But they were changed.
More price options for breakfast would be good.

Average night's sleep as room was not fresh and airy
Pros:

Position of hotel, Parking, Dinner was excellent. Didn't have breakfast- staff were knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly.

Cons:

Room was tired, no decent fresh air as window had fire escape so couldn't leave open during the night. Cold water tap, running warm water when turned open. door to bathroom banged every time it was shut or opened

Wonderful Hotel
Pros:

Everything was to a high standard, bed was very comfortable we had a lovely spacious room. The staff were fabulous we felt so welcomed and they were all very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble.
