Great family rooms.
Pros:

The staff were all helpful and friendly.
The food was incredible.
The bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The first room we were put in was called "deluxe" and as such we paid more to have a deluxe room. Upon arrival, the room was not like the photos, the room and bathroom were both very small, and as such, we requested a move. We were moved to a family room which was much larger, but would have actually cost less so we weren't happy that we weren't even offered a refund for the difference.

Very disappointing, photos were misleading. A hotel with character but in need of attention.
Pros:

Its location was excellent for our visit to RHS Wisley. The evening receptionist on our arrival was excellent.

Cons:

Very poor housekeeping. A lot of dust covering surfaces in bedroom & en suite. The en suite was very tired. Mould and limescale plus broken tiles. The coffee machine was so dirty we were reluctant to use it. The main area, carpets were heavily stained and dusty staircase. Not a good entrance area.

A really lovely place to stay. Clean and comfortable
Pros:

Convenient location, clean and comfortable room.

Cons:

The noise of the building work going on. I know this can’t be helped though and does not reflect badly on the Talbot. But thought it worth mentioning.
