Schönes historisches Gebäude. Tolles Pup.
Im Zimmer ist Luft nach oben! Teppiche Oberflächen könnten besser gepflegt sein , auch nach vielen Jahren ( seit 1453)
The breakfast was fairly standard, not as much selection as a large chain hotel but the food was tasty. Best hotel self-service coffee machine I've encountered. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The meal in the restaurant in the evening was tasty and reasonably priced.
The room was shabby and uncared for. The cleanliness was very poor. The room was covered in dust, the doors were grimy from where people touched them, there were dents in the walls. Dust on the drawer tops, skirting, edge of the carpet. The shower had mould and hard water stains. The toilet was soiled with faeces and no toilet brush to clean it. The towel rail didn't work even though the switch was on, same with the extractor fan. The towel rail was covered in dust and rust. The shower head was so clogged with limescale the water came out like needles. I had to clean the nozzles with a toothpick before using the shower. The communal areas were also not clean, every seat in the hallway of the Ripley Wing and the dining room had stains on it. Some upholstered seats were missing their back and you could see the springs. The room was set up for 1 person, not a couple. Only 1 bottle of water, 1 glass, 1 set of towels, had to ask for more. Slowest toaster in the world at breakfast.
The room had a shower and was on the ground floor
The £10 parking per night so we parked free across the road.
The meal was poor and despite me asking for fat free vegetables I had to reject the new potatoes and the replacement mash too so long to arrive ( without an apology!) I had eaten the rest of the meal. I have queried the bill but I have not received a reply.
Nice hotel, comfty room
Car park you have to pay for! £10 per night so i had to park off site and walk back to it...it should be free for hotel guests and this lets the entire hotel down and means i would never stay again. Also, the food is expensive.
Food was nice. Room clean.
£10 parking! Guests shouldn't have to pay.
Awful view of construction site and noisy!
Checking out
Tiny room couldn't have a proper shower roof touching ceiling. I an not the tallest but my god they must of height profiled me and put me in the hobbit room
Every aspect is excellent for a comfortable stay. Awsome breakfast.
Nothing
The staff were very helpful and cheerful , the room is spacious .
The inn needs deep cleaning, there are dust and cobwebs around the edges and stairs. The resturant toilet is dirty and breakfast food display needs to be updated food and plates were cold.
The rooms kettle was full of limescale and was not clean, i had to requrst for another one. The sockets and plugs are not in good osition for easy use. You have to drag the extension plug around.
Central location, interesting building and history, excellent welcoming staff, excellent food. Near to the Priory and other sites of interest in Much Wenlock.
We would have appreciated a chair to sit on in the bedroom.
Clean, spacious and well located
No negative
The room was very spacious, overlooking the high street and great value for money. I only stayed one night and didn't eat there but the staff were excellent.
I cannot think of anything apart from more TV channels!
Die ideale Lage im Raum London, perfekt zu erreichen und die Preise sind top!
The check in was seamless. The hotel is lovely and in a great location. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was very enjoyable. I will stay there again without doubt.
The pillows were too soft for me. But I suffer from neck pain and I should have remembered to take my own pillow. So, my own silly fault.
Quiet efficient service. Central Ripley location, easy access to Surrey.
Woud have liked a wider menu choice.
Too cold and very outdated rooms
Nice clean place. The pub was all so very nice. The free parking was good for us.
The location was superb and the village stunning
The room was dirty (carpet not hoovered and mirrors smeared) and extremely tired. The breakfast was extremely poor - boiled bacon , plastic looking eggs in tureens that were from the 1980s.
