Restful Ambience
Pros:

A peaceful ambience in a quiet part of town. As a solo traveller, I felt safe.
My welcome from Rose at the desk was congenial and helpful. I value sincere human interaction. My room was spacious, clean and with all the necessary things like an iron.
The restaurant Julios was a bonus.

Very nice hotel
Pros:

We only stayed 1 night but we had a very good impression. We booked via Accor and got a very good deal including a lovely breakfast (probably the best during our 3 weeks stay in WA). The room was nicely done and with good coffee machine. Nice bathroom. The only dowside is that its a bit too far walking to central activities - but we believe that there are busses etc running close by.

It’s location with plenty of shops around and attached to an Italian restaurant called Julio’s. Staffs were accommodating and even allowed for a later check out with an additional fee

Cons:

No parkings. We have to park 2 minutes away and walk and that would cost us AUD25/day for multiple entries. Parking lots infront of the hotel is only for a maximum of 3 hours and free after 7pm-8am. The walkway from the lift to the room had an unpleasant carpet smell. Water was only provided 2 per room and we need to go down to the lobby to fill it up ourselves.

Nice central location in West Perth!
Pros:

Mahmood (I hope I didn't butcher his name) went out of his way to make my stay as comfortable as possible as I had to move rooms due to an issues with a noisy a/c-unit!

Pros:

Room very clean, beds comfortable, towels lovely and soft. Great you provided an Iron and ironing board.

Cons:

Julio's restaurant was "interesting" - never been served spaghetti in an Italian restaurant with just a knife and fork - usually a spoon and fork to eat spaghetti and the garlic bread looked like a slice of sour dough with garlic butter spread on it - not sure how authentic an Italian place it really is ! But the tiramisu was awesome !

Our uber driver dropped us at the CBD Holiday inn despite being given the address and told the Julio's restaurant was at that site but the CBD staff were lovely and directed us to the CAT bus and told us where to get off so it was all good in the end !!!

Pros:

Rooms did not have opening windows or bathroom exhaust fans that can be switched on. The room had a very strong cleaning chemical smell and the bathroom exhaust was full of dust. So it was impossible to get out the smell- and triggered allergies.
Staff were polite and helpful- but not much they could do about my issues.

A use of less toxic / artificial cleaning supplies and some kind of air purifying system would benefit.
