Schönes, kleineres Stadthotel
Pros:

Für mich die beste Lage, da ich beruflich auf der Balcke-Dürr-Allee zu tun habe. Die Betten sind wirklich bequem und die Sauberkeit ist 1A. Schöner Einrichtungsstil - man fühlt sich wohl. Self Check In funktionierte einwandfrei.

Pros:

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war nur sehr oberflächlich geputzt. Neben und unter den Möbel war es sehr schmutzig. Vorsicht, Steckdosen hinter den Vorhängen offen, ohne Abdeckung und damit eine Gefahr! Das Bad ist nicht modernisiert. Auf den Bildern ist ein anderes Bad zu sehen!

Lage für meinen Bedarf optimal. Wasserkocher/Kühlschrank/Safe vorhanden. Bett und Bad von der Größe und Ausstattung angenehm

Cons:

Keine normalen Kaffeesticks mehr da, kaum Platz um das Bett herum, insgesamt ziemlich eng, keine Kofferauspack- bzw. Abstellmöglichkeit außer auf dem Sessel oder Bett. TV hing schief an der Wand

Es liegt wirklich ruhig! Ventilator auf den Zimmern. Hier ist es auch sauber.

Cons:

Der Eingangscode hakte, ungefähr nach fünf Versuchen kam ich erst, um 15 Uhr, rein.
Es war kein Ansprechpartnern da. Wir irrten umher um unsere Zimmer zu finden. Keine Hinweise. Sieht es in deren Gangschaltung noch modern aus ändert das sich in dem Flur zu den Zimmern. Das Haus riecht hier nach Moder. Auch die Sauberkeit hört hier in den Ecken auf. Die Zimmer sind sehr stickig.

Man kann sehr schlecht jemanden erreichen und erhält keine Rückmeldung, wenn etwas ist. Safe in drei Räumen defekt. Geruch im Bad. Grundsauberkeit nicht gegeben. In drei Zimmern war es grundlegend unsauber. Gute andere Bewertungen sind irreführend. In einem Zimmer sind die Zwischräume des Laminat aufgeplatzt/aufgequollen. Kein Fahrstuhl, keine Klimaanlage in einem alten unsanierten Haus.

Convenient location. Bright spacious room.
Pros:

Self check-in was efficient and the arrival door codes system easy to follow. The room was spacious, bright and clean. We did not stay for breakfast so cannot comment. The location was central enough for an easy walk to the centre of town with shops and restaurants quite close by. Easy parking on the roads nearby and a fairly quiet street.

Cons:

Difficult to fairly judge as we stayed during the extreme heatwave and the room had no air conditioning or a fan and so it was very hot all night and difficult to sleep. The curtains had been left open all day in a south facing room so the room on arrival was like an oven. It's unfair to blame this entirely on the hotel as the weather conditions were exceptional for this time of year. However unfortunately it may not be exceptional in the future so it may be necessary to address this. We did not encounter any staff as the hotel seems to work on a self check-in system so the lack of flexibilty to react to these conditions was evident. On the same note, one small bottle of water between two guests seemed a bit inadequate given the heat. It would have been good to have more water available, possibly providing a fan and also closing the curtains during the day to shade the room would have helped the situation albeit not solved the problem.
