Do not stay at this hotel
Pros:

They will ask you to give more money than what you booked your hotel for, if it is holiday season. They do not have parking, spa, gym or a pool. Their rooms look much worse than they are in the pictures. The hotel is located in the worst possible area you could imagine with lots of shady people around and narrow alleys. I have nothing good to say about this hotel. Do not stay in this hotel.

Very Basic Budget Hotel in need of TLC
Pros:

The Al Jazira is a very basic budget hotel in the busy Souk area of Manama. The rooms and facilities need to be cleaned up, upgraded with modern furniture and fittings and generally rehabilitated to bring it up to a decent standard. The staff are friendly and attended to any issues raised swiftly. Parking is a problem at the hotel but the adjacent multi storey car park is very convenient and reasonably priced.

If you are looking for a cheap overnight stay close to the Souk and are prepared to put up with retro furniture and facilities, this is the place for you.
