Over-all a decent discount room to stay in the area.
Pros:

The staff were very polite and helpful. The building is somewhat historic and has been outfitted to house hotel rooms, which is a draw to the Inn on the River.

Cons:

Cleanliness, very little furniture in the room, very small. The room was very "bare-bones". The room floors could have been cleaner. Coffee in the downstairs lobby was available with the stay.

Very comfortable and staff excellent.
Pros:

Lovely old fashioned room, with antique furniture. Bed very comfortable as were the chairs. Quirky bath/shower in bedroom. Very clean and staff very helpful and friendly.
We had lunch in the restaurant, which was very tasty.

Pros:

Great location. Bed was comfortable. Shower was nice.

Cons:

There was no staff at all, just a receipt at a vacant front desk and an emailed code to unlock the room.. The lobby had some old boxes stacked against the wall. The room had windows that were frosted and you couldn't see out. It was very run down and marginally clean.

peaceful, enjoyable, and comfortable
Pros:

I enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly and my room was very clean. The bed was good to sleep in and the food at the cafe was good. I enjoyed the bench out front to watch the traffic go by and my walk to the levee.
