Lovely room with nice traditional tiles and furniture.
Great breakfast to start the day.
Rooftop infinity pool was memorable.
While a bit away from the city centre, it was close to Marine Parade MRT station so able to get around quite easily.
The area around the hotel was nice with great restaurants.
Nice staff, very obliging.
The window in the shower was a bit off - needed to pull the blind down for privacy while showering.
Also the key card reader for the lift was frustrating at times.
Beautiful hotel situated well in Singapore and over half the price of hotels around marina bay. Easy reach of the underground to travel about.
Staff were all amazing and friendly. We always felt welcome.
The room was gorgeous with amazing views on the 15th floor. I loved the free sweets in the room it was a nice touch.
The bed and pillows were very comfy. Very important for us as my husband has a bad back.
The breakfast was delicious and plenty of selection to choose from. I would definately stay here again.
The rooftop pool and bar were also wonderful. There is a fab gym aswell which we didn’t use
I know it’s impossible to rate the highest but I just did because they deserve it.
I’m not sure if it’s just Singaporeans that are just very courteous but this hotel takes it a notch higher - they remember your name. Every question was answered with true honesty together with personal recommendations.
The room, thanks to Rose on the 12th floor, was prepared perfectly. It’s a really nice room and I’ve accumulated 2.5M air miles in my prof career. This visit was just ‘Fun and visiting Friends’ so it was just perfect.
Something funny: I was taking a shower and I thought, Cool, I can see the view during my shower…. When I’m drying, there is this sign that states, ‘enjoy the view but remember it is 2 way so they can see you’. I laughed by _ss off.
Go to the shoreline and rent a bike early in the morning before the sun bakes you.
I could barely find anything wrong with the property. No dust. No mold, nothing. It’s very obvious that whoever cleans-up, Rose, loves her job.
BTW, Sh_raton at Newton had mold …
OK, it would be nice to have a long towel holder to dry the large towel?
Tres bel hotel bien situe et bien entretenu Le personnel est tres sympathique et repond a toutes vos demandes
On entend les voisins a travers les murs de la salle de bain
We absolutely loved this hotel. The staff were all wonderful and our room was spectacular. It was designed in such a cool way and was so fun and unique, had everything we needed and was really comfortable. Our view was incredible and loved the shower! Indigo was also in the best location for Katong area.
Nothing truly!
Stayed before so knew what to expect
Be good to be treated more special and offered more on arrival
The price per night is a little high
Personnel très aimable et souriant. Belle piscine avec une vue magnifique
Un peu bruyant, on entend le couloir et les chambres voisines
It was my first time in Singapore for a holiday! and i must say this Hotel really impressed me. Not just by the detailed cleanliness of the room, but the service provided was top notch. My compliments to the front desk ladies, Safura and Debbie. They always greeted me, and asked how was my day. It was warm and genuine. I will definitely return and recommend this hotel to my friends!
Located in Katong/Joo Chiat area, this quaint hotel shares a common spot with another IHG brand, Holiday Inn Express. Like the other Hotel Indigo-branded hotel I've been, the decor is whimsical, with that touch of local flavour in its presentation (read: Peranakan porcelain, complimentary local childhood sweets, sink basin on top of a converted Singer sewing machine, etc). It is fun and adds colour to the chain of hotels, a tad different from other luxury brands. The twin bed room is adequately sized, with a nice bathroom and open concept shower that looks out to a great view of the neighbourhood (beware to draw the blinds during shower time!) and a separate toilet at opposite ends of the room (which I find convenient, such that one can shower while the other uses the WC).
Staff are friendly as worthy of any upscale property, with IHG loyalty benefits being automatically awarded without having to make any deliberate requests.
We managed to get breakfast for the room, and there was a wonderful selection of items to savour to start the day. Even though the restaurant, Baba Chews, is small if you measure against those in other hotels, the helpfulness and friendliness of the serving staff make it a welcome start to the day (you can hear staff greeting frequent guests by their names and offering their fav seats). Having a good spread of made-to-order options on the breakfast menu also well compensated for the smaller size of the restaurant. Food tastes great!
There is a superb view at the rooftop pool, served by a pool bar as well as an adequate fitness centre if you decide to throw in some sun-bathing, a dip in the water or a workout.
This was a short staycation for my partner and me to celebrate Valentine's Day, and the stay ticked all the right boxes, also because there are numerous good food options in the area, and there are malls nearby to do some (window-)shopping.
The hotel is a little off the well beaten track I think for tourists, but it does offer connectivity to Gardens by the Bay and the Marina Bay Sands area, just a few stops away via the effective Thomson-East Coast Line.
My only slight complain (pls forgive me...) is that I find the sheets a bit too cooling with the air-conditioning, so it did not provide me with best sleep I had otherwise in the IHG chain of hotels. This is just me nitpicking however.
Hotels in Singapore tend to be expensive, so I am unsure whether it gives the best value given the large variety of hotels in the country with perhaps a better location, so you will need to balance your own needs and wants.
Great location - and decor that reflects and celebrates the location. Room layout was nice, entrance and lobby area are nice. Restaurant is good and breakfast truly excellent and well prepared. Pool and rooftop area lovely.
Staff were so helpful and friendly, our one brief issue with air con in the room was resolved immediately.
Room needed more hanging space especially for towels.
Joo Chiat is a great and underrated area of Singapore. The hotel is nestled in between some other high rises and is a few hundred yards away from the very cute i12 Katong Mall. Pool nice. Staff friendly and helpful.
The interior decoration is extremely odd. I found it a bit of an assault on the senses, although some may find it charming. Rooms felt quite cluttered, and some items in the room were looking a bit worse for wear, i.e. wardrobe hangers.
On some days, breakfast felt very chaotic. On quiet days, it was still far from serene down there, with people zooming around all over the place to grab food from the buffet.
The staff did their best to keep everything running quickly. The breakfast foods were very tasty!
everything was great
Ontbijt was fantastisch
Gemis van een hotelbar
The hotel is perfect for a getaway, nestled in a lovely neighbourhood with lots of food options and cultural experiences. Thank you for the amenities, the cookies were delicious! Great service provided from the team, who were friendly and attention to detail. Will definitely revisit again!
