Great
Too warm in room
Remote, no cell service except in the lodge, stunning view and access to Muncho Lake, hiking trails and hot springs nearby.
Beautiful location. Convenient right off the freeway. Room was clean. Loved the rustic vibe. Nice scenery but you can’t see it from the hotel because of the trees. Cabins were close to the lake with views. We were just traveling through, so it was a good place for that.
No coffee in room. Had to go down to the lobby after 7a to get coffee. No AC. Room was very hot. They did give us a fan which helped a little. We had a room that looked out over the restaurant so it wasn’t very private and it was loud. Restaurant was overpriced with only a few options.
We loved our stay in the cabin. Comfy beds with incredible views. The playground was just across from us which was perfect for the kids
Wish there was a microwave and/or coffee machine in the rooms. But a quick walk to the lobby and you can use theirs. We’ll be back
I love the Northern Rockies Lodge! I’ve stayed there a couple of times. The food is good and the staff are so nice! Can’t wait to stay there again.
It’s an older building but I think it’s the nicest place to stay on the Alcan Highway by far.
Location totally as expected; remote but right on the highway.
breakfast was perfectly adequate
Alex brought me a glass of wine to the room; Sarah was a peach. Above-board staff!
Sheets on the bed weren't fitted so I had pulled them off the mattress in my sleep.
Vent in the bathroom had weeks/months of dust fuzz.
The lake was lovely and the scenery was unmatched.
It was however a in between stay for us. Which in our opinion was reflected in the price in the foreseen but unfortunate case that it was overpriced.
Beautiful location
N/A lived up to the expectation
The location in the Canadian Rockies was spectacular. The staff was welcoming from the moment I walked through the door to confirm my reservations. The room was well prepare for me, neat and clean. Later, I enjoyed a delicious meal from the kitchen.
Absolutely beautiful setting. Amazing log structure.
Except one restaurant that requies reservation, the was no place to eat. No breakfast.
Save your $ and stay elsewhere. Too pricey. There was repairs going on outside our room, which consisted of hammering until 9:00 pm. Then at 3:00 am, a group of young adults pulled their vehicle under our balcony to get either fuel or propane. They were loud, slamming doors, laughing, cussing, etc. after they left another guy showed up at. 5:00 am, same thing getting fuel/propane. There is no ac so we had to sleep with window open and could not avoid the noise. Ate takeout from the restaurant and was not good, only slightly below average.
The property is located on Muncho Lake and it is stunning. It’s cozy and elegant. Food and staff were excellent!
