Pros:

Food for 70th birthday celebration was excellent. They let us check in early after a long drive. Staff very hospitable and attentive

Cons:

Unfortunately our bedroom was unbearably hot, despite turning radiators off. Old building so couldn't open a window which resulted in not a very good sleep. We could pull the glazed portion back but window wouldn't open so couldn't get air into the room to cool it down

Pros:

Beautiful room, all the bar and restaurant was decorated for Christmas and looked lovely. Breakfast lots of choice and really good. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Did not like the parking at the front of the Hotel as lots of traffic going passed alot of the time. But once we parked at the back of the hotel it was alot better.

Lovely Building but Over Priced
Pros:

Beautiful Old Building, with spacious rooms. Breakfast was nice and it was convenient for what we needed.

Cons:

Our Room needed a good hoover, there was a lot of dust and cobwebs. The bathroom could do with some maintenance and a refresh.
Unfortunately the toilet hadn’t been flushed by previous visitors.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut.Das Personal ausgesprochen freundlich. Die Einrichtung war traditionell und urig.

In den Ecken waren Spinnenweben.
Der Scheinwerfer des Pubs schien bis Schließung des Pubs in unser Schlafzimmer.
