Excellent value, clean, comfortable and will definitely stay again when in Dumfries.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good. It was buffet style but it was all very hot, very well cooked and plenty of choice. There were cereal, fruit, juice and yoghurt choices too and help yourself bread to toast. Well done.

Cons:

The only downside was that it wasn't in the heart of the town although the walk wasn't too far and I felt perfectly safe. For anyone arriving in a car this wasn't a problem but if anyone had walking issues it wasn't teriibly convenient for the heart of Dumfries.

Love this hotel, stayed in room 7, very comfortable,great breakfast , room and linen very clean
Pros:

Beds comfy, room and bathroom clean. Well stocked tea/ coffee/ biscuits etc. Breakfast was delicious

Cons:

Room was quite cold in the evening and couldn’t get the heater mounted on the wall to work

Pros:

Great amenities and great sleep. Usually at most hotels the beds are way to soft. The biscuits and hot chocolate were a nice touch.

Caledonian is a central located clean , friendly welcoming Hotel , ideal for short or longer stays.
Pros:

Room was comfortable , clean , Decor was good , Bathroom situated in the room is excellent. Hotel clean and welcoming .
Breakfast was a buffet style help yourself with an excellent choice of hot and cold food .
Hotel is walkable into the Town Centre.
Staff very friendly , competent in their duties.

Cons:

the Hotel and Staff met all the requirements for the price charged .
