The area is quite awful, this really isn’t a beach hotel despite being close to shore. Staff doesn’t speak english very well, but they did try to help. There was insects in our room, different kind of them... I wouldn’t stay again, but mostly because of the area.

We had booked to stay for 7 nights and only stayed one. We would have checked out immediately only we had arrived on a late flight.
Staff took our passports and refused to return them until check out despite this being illegal. This made me very uneasy. We arrived to our room to no safety deposit box even though this was clearly advertised on the hotels page on booking.com. when we questioned the girl at reception she couldn't understand us and got the manager who was incredibly rude and settled with offering to take our valuables himself and keeping them behind the desk (??). Speaking of this, you were required to give in your key to reception when going out and it was left unattended on the desk. The deadbolt on our door was broken and the door also didn't close correctly. The security in this hotel left an awful lot to be desired.
Back in the room, there were ants crawling on the floor and bed. The bed was so hard. The shower was a pipe attached to the wall behind the door in the small bathroom. You wouldn't see it unless you were sitting on the toilet... outside was very unpleasant. There were karaoke bars going late into the night and when they eventually stopped we had to listen to hotel staff partying loudly downstairs until 3am.
The following morning, we packed our bags to leave. We got our passports back with struggle. We were put on the phone to the manager who then had to attend when we said we were leaving. He was the rudest, most immature manager with extremely poor customer service. He demanded we pay for the full 7 nights even though our reason for check out was entirely the fault of the property. He balled up sheets of paper and threw them around the reception area and then refused to speak with us. The stand off ended when we agreed to pay for the one night. Disappointing is an understatement. An awful experience.

The hotel is clean and it has a cool yard with many trees.
The hotel owner is nice and the price is reasonable. It's near Dong Duong night market, you can walk on foot and it takes you 5-10 minutes *-*

Hôtel situé au bout de la rue du marché, donc le matin pour se rendre au restaurant pour déjeuner nous devons traverser le marché avec tout le trafic et les odeurs de poissons. Nous avons changé après la deuxième journée. Aucune commodité, pas de restaurant, pas le droit de faire du lavage

An annoying experience we had was at check out (we had an early flight), there was nobody at the front desk. This hotel holds your passport at check in, and with no buzzer, we had to yell until someone was able to help us (I apologise to any guests I woke up!).

The bathrooms need some work; they have the shower spraying right into the sink. Not to mention the poor drainage so the entire bathroom floor is constantly wet and slippery. Quite annoying since anything that touches the floor becomes drenched and dirty.

Nearby karaoke bar had music blaring until the later hours. It was noisier than Sai Gon!

The location is okay, with a short walk to the night market, and it is okay for the price.
If you don't expect more than a bed to sleep in, this is alright.

It's located right behind the old airport and there was loud music every night, also if you want to walk you have to go through the fish market in order to go to the night market. It's about 15 to 20 minutes more to go around. The staff all around were very nice and accommodating.

Stayed here for one night and we were happy with our experience.
Nice hotel, not too central, but still a bargain. Clean, helpful staff and great price.
Don't get fooled by the pictures! This is NOT a beach hotel!

We stayed here for 2 nights, and really enjoyed it. It's very quiet at night, in a non
touristy part. It's clean and the staff are helpful. There's not much to do in the area, but you can walk to the night market and the lighthouse. We also had breakfast there, which was nice. I would be happy to stay there again.

We stayed 3 nights at the hotel and it was quite nice hotel though they did not serve breakfast. Good location if you are Vietnamese as you could walk 5 mins to the local market but it takes a long walk to the long beach road. You can not walk to the beach from the hotel. The room we stayed was nice and clean except the shower was not good as it was on the 4th floor so the pressure was not so strong. Beside the floor in the bath room were always wet and slippery as the water comes from the air con.

Новый отель рядом с местным рынком (цены на фрукты в два-три раза дешевле чем в других местах острова). Номера нормальные, удобные, но все впечатление портит отсутствие окна (стандартный двухместный номер). Хотя на картинке номер с окном. Только за это ставлю отелю два балла. Рядом караоке, на выходных было очень шумно. В пешей доступности моря, удобного для купания нет.

The room is clean and well-serviced. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The hotel can serve meals if you wish. Particularly, it is located almost in the center of the island where you could rent a motobike to explore all the corners of the island from this hotel. So convenient and exciting!

This place is amazing. Clean, comfortable, cheap and close to the centre. The rooms are big and very well furnished with even flip flops for your walks around the island. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this place to anybody is planning a trip to this beautiful corner of vietnam.

Phu Quoc night market is at walking distance from this place.

We just loved Phu quoc!!! Great for nightlife and the fresh seafood. The nightmarket was impressive and did not stop. Our hotel put us on an amazing trip to the nice beaches and on a boat with the locals. We visited islands where it seemed no westerner has been. They brought us into there houses and gave us food and a beer of course.
