Great independent hotel option right in the city centre
Pros:

We had a problem with our room owing to noise from a music festival nearby. The hotel staff were very apologetic and quickly remedied the situation with a room move and upgrade.

Both rooms we stayed in were large and comfortable. The breakfast was a vast selection of international food and good quality. We ate in the hotel a couple of times in the evening and this food was also good.

Arnold at the Pool Bar deserves a shout out for his superb hospitality and great Singapore Slings. Also special mention to Firdaus for sorting the room issue and booking our dolphin trip.

Fabulous location in the city centre. Very close to tourist attractions and right on top of a shopping mall.

Cons:

Nothing. However there are currently some renovations happening at the hotel so sometimes you can hear some related noise during the day.

Breakfast was superb as was the location. View from our room was amazing. Staff were very friendly, helpful and polite at all times.

Cons:

Room was in need of an upgrade and needed more drawer/wardrobe room for storage.

Geweldig verblijf
Pros:

Wij hebben echt genoten van ons verblijf. De kamer is comfortabel, een fijn zwembad, super locatie boven een winkelcentrum, en het ontbijt was geweldig met abnormaal veel keuze. Wel één van de beste ontbijtjes die ik heb gehad op vakantie. Zeker een aanrader! Personeel ook erg vriendelijk, bagage opslag voor meerdere dagen geen enkel probleem.

Pros:

Breakfast is amazing, plenty of diversity for food and beverage. European-taste very good coffee and cappuccino.
Location is perfect for anything in and out of Kuching
Nice relaxing pool (small), wenn equipped and very clean gym

Cons:

Some work in progress on the floor just above us, but we were well informed in advance (even before booking, well indicated on hotel website). We got an updated suite, largely compensating some noise, which anyway remained contained in the day hours.
Work will be terminated soon! So far, keep in mind to plan some alternatives during the day if you want to rest a bit during the hottest day periods.

Mostly enjoyed being here. Needed some draws in the room. Good breakfast.
Pros:

Location , good size room.

Cons:

The pool, very dark. Concrete surrounding needed a covering. Looked unfinished. Generally wasn’t a relaxing place to be.

Cons:

Check in more than 30 minutes. The staff was not able to arrange simple staffs. They have given my room to another person with similar name. Invoice has not been provided yet after three requests.
Pool was not working the first 3 days.

Fantastisch!
Pros:

Mooie locatie, prachtige kamers en een zeer uitgebreid ontbijt. Het personeel was ook erg behulpzaam.

Cons:

Helaas was het zwembad 3 dagen tijdens ons verblijf gesloten voor onderhoud waardoor we moesten uitwijken naar een ander hotel wat dan weer wel een prachtig zwembad had.

Top verblijf
Pros:

Het ontbijt was overheerlijk. Nergens zo lekker ontbeten. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Naast het hotel zit een winkelcemtrum leuk om doorheen te lopen. Ideale locatie in Kuching. Bijna alles op loopafstand.

Cons:

Het zwembad is grotendeels overdekt en klein. Heeft wel een mooi uitzicht. Toen wij er waren was het zwembad defect/omderhoud. Dit was eigenlijk een geluk want daardoor werd er aangeboden om te zwemmen bij het Pullman hotel.
