A simply superb experience - the only option worth considering in Kuching.
Pros:

The concierge and reception staff were phenomenal and went over and above the call of duty to make my stay a memorable one. Any of the leading hotels at which I've stayed could take their cue from them. The service was truly outstanding.

Cons:

I cannot think of anything at all.

Great location.
Pros:

The hotel has a great location overlooking the river . It is next door to a shopping mall and within walking distance of many places of interest. It's a short Grab ride to many great seafood restaurants.
The staff are without exception very welcoming and helpful.
The room didn't have much of a view but it was very spacious and comfortable and had an enormous attached bathroom.
The room was very quiet and peaceful.
The buffet breakfast was excellent with a great variety of choices.
The bar has a good range of cocktails but no happy hour unfortunately.
We enjoyed our stay so much we added another night.

Cons:

The air-conditioning isn't very effective. Although it was on full fan continuously for three days and set at 16°C the room never got below 23°C.
