I stayed one night at Arken Lanka Hotel in Galle with my family, including kids, and overall it was a pleasant experience.

The location is convenient and quiet, making it suitable for a relaxed family stay. The hotel environment felt safe, which is important when traveling with children. The rooms were clean and reasonably comfortable for a short stay, with enough space for a small family.

Pros:

Very good conditions at an affordable price. Breakfast prepared with fruit from our own garden. Excellent location, 100 meters from the ocean. Great location. I recommend it.

Cons:

No hot water in the shower. Fortunately, it wasn't cold, so it was ok.

Pros:

Room and cleanness is very good. Distance to the town is ok. Around 1km we can reach. View of that room also super cool.

Cons:

Breakfast is not good and they didn't serve us cutlery and butter for the bread also. They served other couples with those things and also felt like some discomfort because of how they treated us. And room 08 bathroom fittings are not working properly.

Tolle Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage
Pros:

Schönes Zimmer mit mit großen Balkon. Das Bett war bequem und mit einem Moskitonetz bezogen. Die Familie war super lieb, sehr gesprächig und unfassbar nett. Man konnte sich sehr gut mit ihnen Unterhalten und Tipps bekommen. Das anwesen ist schön und hat einen guten Ausblick in die Natur. Das Highlight war das Frühstück! Hervorragendes Frühstück, einheimische Küche sowie Toast mir Marmelade und Eiern. Ein riesen Angebot, auch an Früchten und alles hat super lecker geschmeckt.

Great place to stay in Galle
Pros:

Ideal location for the City and Galle fort.
Clean. Very friendly and helpful owner and wife. Especially helpful with our planned itinerary.
Breakfast included...both English and Sri Lankan. A bonus too having AC.
The price was incredibly reasonable for our last stop in Sri Lanka and we'd definitely use it again. Thank you

Lovely family run hotel, good value for money.
Pros:

Great value for money, the bedroom was clean and bathroom very spacious, the air con was great. The staff were amazing, provided great breakfast and talked us through local dishes (they were great!).

Cons:

The wifi did not work upstairs in the room. The location is not the best, however very easy to get tuk tuks and was good value for money despite this.
